    If I only lived closer...GLWTS!

" So, are you a pinball wizard? "

Followed by my thought.....I wish I had not talked to that person about pinball. The glazed look on their face was enough to guess the above response.

    #61 9 years ago

It's not what I wanted, but I'll take it!

    #62 9 years ago

    Wish I were closer.

    "The only thing...."

Those are the three words that never cease to turn up when I'm buying a pin. It usually comes after all the glowing remarks about a given pin ... to gently slide in that which SUCKS about that very same pin.

    #66 9 years ago

    "It's not my fault!"
    "This game sucks!"
    "F*** Y*** you stupid game!"

well... those are mostly my most overused lines

I am so sick of seeing the phrase HUO when I was around back in the day when all those WMS games were sold new in the box and we never, ever sold new in the box games to home buyers. Never. There is no way there are anywhere the number you see advertised. I love the ad I saw on Mr Pinball one time "HUO except for the holes drilled in the front"! Classic. The very first game I ever sold new in the box was Data East's Batman. It was so cool I sold maybe four to home buyers, but then nothing else new in the box for years. My competitor CA Robinson in Los Angeles back in the day I know sold a few to movie and rock stars, but that was in LA, not the rest of the country. This new in the box stuff is a fairly new phenomenon that really only took off after WMS closed their doors and Stern started catering to the home market when pins got too expensive for operators to continue buying. Stern even has to be surprised at the number of pins they are selling to the home market.

    I ALWAYS say
    " best game ever "
    But it really is

Since you have never played this game,
We'll only play for a nickel a point...

Hey will a couple of games knock a few bucks off this service call?

I said free pinball, not free beer.

    "Investment"

    #73 9 years ago

Can't believe "deep rule set" hasn't been mentioned yet.

Grinds my gears that one for some reason....

    #74 9 years ago

    Instant classic

    #75 9 years ago

    Price Check!!

    #76 9 years ago

"led's". As we all know some people think color bombing everything is the 'ish.

    #$ck!

    #79 9 years ago

Shopped (meaning I replaced a few thing on top of the playfield, wiped it down and was done)
    Awesome LED kit
    Wife says it's gotta go
'Sells' for $4K on eBay (when it is a $900 game)
    It's probably just a fuse.

    CL specific:
"posted: 7 days ago updated: 5 days ago updated 3 days ago updated 1 day ago updated 2 hours ago" (with no changes in price, pictures or text)
"keywords: mancave, man cave, arcade, videogame, video game"
    "Price: $1"
"Stop flagging my posts" (having 9 identical posts in different categories / regions at the same time)
"No low ballers" (on a $500 broken/EM listed for $5K)

    #80 9 years ago

    Rare game

    Easy fix

    #81 9 years ago

That one I'll never sell, 3 months later well we all know what happens.

    #82 9 years ago

    "shopped"

    #83 9 years ago

    near mint

    #84 9 years ago

A guy I know lives down the block from The Franklin Mint. He likes to say his house is "near mint."

    " Can I fit that in my car/truck? "

    and

    " Sure It'll fit "

    #87 9 years ago
    Quoted from lostlumberjacks:

Oh my, this is a good one. I get so sick of the "tweaked", or "dialed in" oh boy, I'm sure glad it's tweaked, in my most sarcastic voice

"Dialed in" by a mile for me too.

"I don't care for that game much."
"Oh you probably haven't played on dialed in like mine."
    "It's a 25 year old machine, I've played 30 diff'rent versions of them jackass."

    #88 9 years ago

    1 word... "Table"

    #89 9 years ago

    "Bingos suck!"

    Have you ever played one?

    "Well, no, but..."

    #90 9 years ago

"This is not leaving anytime soon!"

    #91 9 years ago

I absolutely hate, "It has only X amount of plays"

This is probably the easiest thing to lie about and the playfield speaks for itself.

    #92 9 years ago

To the wife: I got a great deal! It only cost me__(insert lie)__!

    #93 9 years ago

F#cking straight down the mother f#cking middle again! F#ck this! ...one more game.

    #97 9 years ago

"Who collects blah blah action figures?"

    They're dolls, amirite?

    Also, "Amirite?"

    #98 9 years ago
    Quoted from MrBally:

    RIP Leah & Al Bettleman.

Yes! Love em or hate em, they ran a class act distributorship. They were always my main competitor so we had to strive hard to do things better. They were very gracious hosts at their open houses and fed us well at each one! They got out at the perfect time.

"Needs more interactive toys like WoZ"
