OK I'll start and I've been major guilty of this one...

    "What is Stern's next title?"

"When is the next software update?"

"Honest dear, just one more game."

    #4 8 years ago

Oh my, this is a good one. I get so sick of the "tweaked", or "dialed in" oh boy, I'm sure glad it's tweaked, in my most sarcastic voice. Or the home use only for the last "x" amount of years. Like that means anything.

    Quoted from LTG:

    Greatest game ever !
    LTG : )™

That is almost exactly what I was thinking. "This is the best game ever!"

    $10k by Christmas.

    It's dialed in.

    #19 8 years ago

Not a phrase just a single word and no one on here can really argue it.

    "NEED"

    #20 8 years ago

    "This game's been shopped!"

(which more often than it should means, "I replaced the flipper bands and a couple of easy-to-get-to post rubbers.")

    #21 8 years ago

    Epic

    #22 8 years ago

"Harry, the clock on that nine-foot nuclear weapon is ticking..."

    #23 8 years ago

"Can you please send me a close up of the shooter lane?"

    #24 8 years ago

On CL, it's got to be "excellent condition."

    #25 8 years ago

    Easy. 'Pristine.'

    #27 8 years ago

"Promise, honey. I'll sell one of the others to fund it."

    #28 8 years ago

    minty fresh

    #29 8 years ago

Where did that ball go? WTF

    #30 8 years ago

"Keeper" within a week of owning it. You can't truly know a game is a keeper for at least several months IMO.

And the general sentiment that a new game is amazing. Look at the historical rankings — almost all new games start high and drop shortly afterward as opinions settle to reality.

shipping kills the deal for me

    #32 8 years ago

    Stern sucks

    #33 8 years ago

"Excellent condition" or something similar. I'm amazed at how often excellent means "anything but excellent".

    #34 8 years ago

    +1 shopped

    #35 8 years ago

    My collection is complete.

    #36 8 years ago

"I'm going to look at a game. I'll be back in about an hour". My wife says "pinball time" is always at least 3 times what I say it will be.

    #37 8 years ago

    refake

    "Just one more game"
