Just curious. Over past twenty years, what pin do you think was the most disappointing.
Note not necessarily "bad," just not as good as hoped, not living up to the hype.
Note also, we're talking about pins ACTUALLY produced. I think we all know that JPop and SkitB misadventures certainly illustrate "disappointment." But they never actually mass produced ANYTHING.
For me, I THINK it is Star Trek Into Darkness. I was expecting a lot as Stern's response to JJP's new platform, with a license I LOVE, produced by SR, whose STTNG is one of my favorites.
Then it came out: I appreciated the great flow. And the LE cabinet was very, very, cool. But it felt like it could have been SO much more.
It's fun, but for me, not in-home fun. Five-star license, five-star designer, two and a half star game.
