I voted Stern Fake Knocker, but I can't stand the Dalek screaming on Dr Who machines. Sorry.

    An expensive backglass breaking....

    #15 3 months ago

Vuvuzelas by a mile. The sounds of 10,000 vuvuzelas for 90 straight minutes almost ruined the 2010 World Cup for me. At least nails on the chalkboard only lasts a few seconds.

    #16 3 months ago

Stern Star Trek's end of ball "Werreeeer". You can hear that from 20 miles away. You can hear it always at a noisy Pinball Expo main floor.

    #17 3 months ago

Another vote for the fake Stern knocker.

Soccer in general ruins the World Cup for me.

I'll never understand how anyone can dislike that sound, it's actually been my phone's notification sound for years now, lol.

Future Spa background music. Well, they refer to it as music. I think of it more like bad tinnitus.

    #29 3 months ago

Moderated. Sorry to offend that segment of the populace.

That urp urp urp noise a dog or cat makes before it vomits. . . usually in the middle of the night when you are sound asleep. I swear no one would ever sleep thru their alarm if that was the sound programmed to wake you up.

As far as pinball goes, the sound of "No Flashdrive Detected" (or something similar) coming from my Pinsound Card after I've just installed a new flash drive with a new sound package.

Its what kept me from buying so many Sterns.
    Another, blup stern vote here.

Nails on the blackboard is the worst for me
Stern fake knocker is almost equal,
Dogs about to barf sure wakes you up fast and
Then two hours to fall back to sleep if you can

    #42 3 months ago

Ghostbusters Scream-It is piercing and I know I can turn it off but I love it and hate it at the same time. I do enjoy watching people who have never heard it before freak out and look around.

    #44 3 months ago

The sound of something metal falling from bottom

Happened to me at 3:52 this morning. I didn't know I could move that fast. Took forever for me to fall back asleep because I was waiting for round 2.
