Because "depth" doesn't equal the best game. Just like speed, flow, stop & go, modes...etc don't show the best game. Tron is a pretty simple game, but frustratingly difficult. True, most of the frustration comes from the Gem shot, but somehow it keep you coming back for more. You have games like HS which are totally simple, and yet all time greats.
