There is a small area in Merlin's hole on my game where the clear coat has worn down to the wood and I want to get something to protect it. Which product do you guys use? I have heard a few people say they use Mantis. Any suggestions? Also, is this normal for 200 plays or is this way to quick to have that kind of ware. Thank you for your time!

Replace your balls.

If you have that kind of wear in 200 plays, you have a nick in one of them.

this sounds like a personal problem for merlin and shouldn't be mentioned on a public forum like this

Here are a few pictures. I don't know if I'm overhyping it or what. Any help would be awesome because I am very new to the hobby. Thank you for your time!

Should I say something to my distributor? Should I try to get a replacement? Is this something that I should be worried about? This is my first pinball machine so I'm not sure if I should freak out or if it's not really a big deal once I get the Mantis or Cliffy protection.
Thanks

OK, I will go with the Mantis. Thank you

Mantis is the perfect choice for this style of kick out hole. IMO

It does not obstruct the shot as much as cliffy. Although I like cliffy protectors on the rest.

You've got to be gentle with those first-timers.
