I'm close to making this happen
A fine trio.
Quoted from Hop-Pac:I would pick my favorite from each era.
EM - Jack's Open
SS - Medusa
DMD - Cirqus Voltaire
But this is subject to change at any minute
Jacks Open is one of my all-time favorite EMs!
Quoted from 27dnast:No 'Stang????? I'm shocked!
Mustang would be my choice in a lineup of one. Since all other games pale in comparison, it wouldn't be fair to include it in a lineup of three.
Quoted from J85M:I keep hearing more and more good things about mustang but still haven’t been able to get my hands on one to get some serious time on. What is it that stang has or does that rocks your world??
It's a fast, challenging game with a nice shooting asymmetric layout and variety of modes that require you to make shots over the entire playfield, but also allow you to choose among various scoring strategies and risk/reward levels. Lots of multiballs, unique features (more so with a Premium/LE), special scoring modes, cool audio, and great dots all add up to make for a really fun game!

I actually don't consider it to be the best Stern game ever, but it's up there for me.
