Don't worry. R & L will still find a way to fuck it up.

Yes they will! I had an arcade machine shipped by them 15 years ago. The guy I bought it from strapped it to a pallet and built a 1/2” OSB/flake board box for added protection. Some F’r speared it with a fork lift. Luckily I refused delivery and got a full refund after a few rounds with their claims department.
Lesson learned… use 3/4” plywood. It’s WAY stronger than 1/2” flake board but costs $50+ per sheet!

I don’t make any promises to the wife other than I won’t put pinball machines in the bedroom or bathroom.

When I lived in my townhome I had pinball machines in the:
    Foyer
    Dining room
    Kitchen
    Basement
    Spare bedroom

    Quoted from PDXFlipper:

Two weeks behind so that probably means that Godzilla movie made in the middle of the month ish? Of course at the end of the day they’re gonna show when they show.

I can’t wait to get Godzilla premium but have lowered expectations due to the fact that the world seems to be spiraling towards the apocalypse! I’d rather be pleasantly surprised and not disappointed. Spring would be great but I’d be happy to receive it by august!

Well, I guess Stern still don't have their crap together.

How many games played on that machine?

I’ve got preorder from Cointaker and GameExchange

For the same machine to see which one comes in stock first and pass on the second?

    Quoted from PapaBless:

For anyone else waiting for their "March Run" GZ from CT I paid if off in full last Thursday still hasn't been shipped

When did you leave your$1 deposit? I left mine in Nov.
Melissa just responded to my email checking on production status today and she said 3rd or 4th quarter 2022.

    Quoted from KSP1138:

Wouldn't this be better for everyone involved?
--A customer places on order for a game directly with Stern (or via an ordering portal from a distributor to Stern) with a non-refundable deposit of $1000 which guarantees the price and place in line, i.e. Godzilla Premium Order number 755.
--Orders are then assigned by Stern to individual distributors (based on size/geography for those ordered from Stern directly), who take a fixed profit and arrange for delivery or shipping, and handle warranty related issues.
Stern would know exactly how many orders they have for a given game and could adjust their production accordingly, the customer would know exactly where they are at in line compared to everyone else and be able to better estimate when their game would be delivered, and distributors would have a lot less questions to deal with.

This makes sense but I’d rather see pay in full at time of order. It would weed out quite a few flippers. Reserving spots at multiple Distr.’s is too easy and almost all of the deposits are transferable to another machine or refundable. This needs to stop. I bet there are quite a few Pinsiders that have deposits on the same machine at 3-5 different distr.’s Also deposits should not be able to be transferred to other buyers. I ‘d like to see these harsh changes to weed out the scalpers!

    DIE Scalper Scum!!!

Does this mean no Godzilla premium???

I ordered mine last fall. Melissa at coin taker told me a few days ago possibly June for Godzilla Prem. Back ordered parts are the cause of the delay.

    Quoted from JToeps:

I as well am looking to get in line for a Godzilla premium.

The longer you wait the longer it will take to get one. I’ll be happy if I get mine in 9 months or less from when I ordered.

    Quoted from djsolzs:

I was 11/26 and she said Im a go - no invoice yet though

I ordered GZ Premium from Cointaker on 11/9 and just got my invoice today. Supposed to ship in October. So hopefully less than 1 year from order until delivery. It’s been a long wait but I’m finally starting to get excited.

I think the wait for Bond Premium will be similar if it’s well received.

    Quoted from crujones4life:

Anyone else think it's crazy that the newest Stern you can buy came out 9 months ago? This is nuts. I hope we see another release by January 2023 but people don't even have their Bonds yet.

Pinball is popular. Supply chain/parts issues have slowed thing down considerably.
It just took 11-1/2 months to get my GZ Premium.

I expect to wait at least a year or more for the CCR plus Topper that I ordered in the spring.

Ordering a new Stern Premium is now almost equal to ordering a boutique Mfg machine when announced. Unless you were already on the preorder distributor list before the title is even announced.

I expect there will be a very long wait for Bond Premium as it appeals to a VERY large amount of non collector types. Unless it’s a turd, Bond will probably be the new Playboy pin in that it will be the most common single machine in Rec rooms/ finished basements all over the world .

I really hope EHOH does gets a February build. Just listened to The Pinball Show and it sounds like we have a chance.
    [quoted image]

I don’t listen to podcasts. What’s the chatter?

    #4350 1 year ago

Melissa and Chris from Cointaker told me at the York Pinball Show that they are hopeful that the Feb run of EHOH will happen. They said my sister in law should get hers if they do a run. I was fortunate to find a topper for her this year at cost. It is a great machine. You need a lot of patience when ordering NIB. It look almost 12 months to get my GZ Premium. Elvira was about a 9-10 month wait.

Quoted from ggg71:Foo Fighters has zero appeal. As does another superhero (Venom).
How about Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers for a music pin? Floyd is a no brainer as well, although the rights are a mess if you want to use anything from the Wall.
How about a Martian pin? (Based on the Movie). That would work well for pinball I think. Or 2001 a Space Odyssey? Or even just an unlicensed Mars pin might be cool.

Which Mfg teased cabinet artwork of an unlicensed space theme machine a year or two ago? Was it Spooky or maybe Deeproot?

    Quoted from johnnyutah:

If no Elivira this month hopefully that means more GZPre’s being built.

If Elvira is delayed again hopefully they won’t squeeze in yet another price increase.
My Sister in law has been waiting a long time for hers. The price increase and long delay has her questioning the purchase. Distro said no problem if you want a full deposit refund because he claims to have a fairly long list of buyers to take her spot.

American has Galactic Tank Force. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

That’s it, thank you! Can’t wait to see and play it!

    Quoted from Only_Pinball:

    It was Spooky.[quoted image][quoted image]

This is actually the machine I was talking about. Thank you for posting! I am excited to play both of these machines. Lots of potential and no money spent for licensing that hopefully was used for better mechs and features.

    Coming soon … 2018!
Pinball Mfg is hard and sometimes painfully slow.

    Quoted from mstang01:

Lol, over 500 callouts by Eddie Vedder, but you won’t be able to understand them , I think I’d pass on that. I listened to a pretty wide variety in the 90’s, but not grunge for the most part (some sound garden). From that era NIN, Tool, Cake, Eels, Beck, Ben Folds, Liz Phair, Sublime, Cypress Hill, They Might Be Giants, REM, Everclear, Blink 182, Green Day, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan (no new albums but I caught them in concert) etc. were all in my rotation but only a few might make good pins.

NIN and Cypress Hill could be interesting titles. Would Stern ever build a machine with a pot leaf on a backglass/ playfield? Cheech and Chong Up In Smoke (with custom callouts) also would have huge potential except it’s not family friendly. That’s probably more of a Spooky/American Pinball title.

    Quoted from PalmettoPinworks:

Wonder when we will see Stern release a Godzilla topper since the recent update included light shows for it.

I would love to add a cool topper to my Godzilla but it better not retail for $2000. $1000 for my Elvira was stupid expensive. $2000 is insane.

My sister in law is starting to lose hope of getting the Elvira that she ordered almost a year and a half ago. Did I read that the last run was cut short and there will POSSIBLY be another final small run late summer/Fall?

    Quoted from kool1:

Over the past 2-3 years supply was so tight / demand so strong - deposits and waiting were the norm.
I don't think we will see a market like that for a long time if ever again.
Very thankful I didn't put a deposit down on Pulp Fiction. Could be a year plus by the time people get them.

Winter is coming and I’m starting to see quite a few masks out in public. Don’t be surprised if it happens again in the future. By that time all the new Distro’s will probably have closed due to there being too many of them sitting on stock.

I fondly remember the market in 1990’s -2000’s. Order a LOTR, Simpsons, random title. If it wasn’t in stock just wait 3-4 weeks and pick it up at the Distro.

    Quoted from big-c66:

They’re running Elvira premium the 3-4 week in April. That came from Zach at flipping out pinball. I’m trying to figure out some way or another to get one.

It’s good to hear they are finally running more EHOH Premium. My sister in law canceled her Elvira Premium order and got the deposit refunded (after waiting almost 1-1/2 years)when the Red Kiss version was announced. I feel lucky to have purchased mine before the last (2)? Price increases.

I have a NIB topper that I was going to give her for Christmas if anyone needs one. If interested send me a PM.
