    Quoted from PinMonk:

RUSH line is halted due to parts availability as of this afternoon. They're building Mando Premiums that should have been built in Dec on the line instead until more RUSH parts show up. So...great for Mando Prem buyers?

Maybe they will start cranking out some EHOH

    #431 2 years ago
    Quoted from Elvishasleft:

    Maybe the boxes are empty?

I’m sure there is something in those boxes, but with these parts shortages anything is possible I guess.

JJ is definitely the gold standard when it comes to distributors and he is also a heck of a nice guy! It’s a bit tough for me to say that here because those looking for an excellent Distributor will flock to him for games and my chances of getting an LE on future releases probably just got even smaller!

    Quoted from JackG:

Stern announced that they are focusing on Rush, Godzilla, Mandalorian, and Deadpool. That's great news for all those people waiting. I'm waiting on two of them.

I was bummed to see that didn’t include Elvira on that list, but maybe this will at least bump the schedule on Elvira up a bit.

    Quoted from Capn12:

Just noticed that EHoH Premium deposits are now removed from Cointaker's site. Guess that backs up everything we've heard about EHoH.

Nope I talked to Melissa a week ago she told me that her allotment for the November run of EHOH is sold out, I’m assuming that’s why she pulled it off.

    #772 2 years ago

It’s a shame they don’t run more stranger things premiums. When the game first came out I didn’t care for it much, but I played it recently and really liked it quite a bit!

Was there a last call on IMDN? Would love to see more Pro and Premium!

    Quoted from Pinballer73:

Which guy in Chicago, please provide contact details. Flipnout & Scaffer Distributing don't have the Elvira 40th listed on their respective websites

Here are a couple for you, one of them is a Distributor.

    Quoted from ZMeny:

Hey all, thanks to those of you with kind words and continued support for Flip N Out Pinball, LLC. To those with strong and/or harsh words regarding our business practices or pricing, Nicole and I apologize for any delays with responding or any mistakes we have made. I assure you, we are doing every possible thing we can to make your enjoyment of the pinball hobby the absolute best it can be. While I can be a bit perfectionistic, I do make mistakes and will continue to make mistakes here and there. We do everything to limit the frequency and magnitude of those mistakes. And looking at the industry and other distribution companies, we are exceedingly happy with our level of support and ethical business practices.
I'm a pinball guy. It's why I'm responding on Pinside. As a hobbyist, some dealers frustrated me in the past, so I worked my ass off to become one. And my goal is to be the best damn pinball distributor there is, anything else means I have not succeeded.
    - We continue to offer Free Shipping (w/insurance) on all new Sterns, even when our peers have given up on the practice and even as we see shipping quotes go through the roof.
    - We ship fast. That's because I'm impatient and as a hobbyist, I want my games in my gameroom as fast as possible.
    - We troubleshoot with customers and we submit for warranty requests, even if it's past the window of warranties. If something is rejected by a manufacturer for replacement, we often pay for the repair and/or the part ourselves. I would like to think a vast amount of customers can and would attest to this. If there is an issue, WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. Example, customer last week had his Rush LE damaged in shipment. Instead of waiting a couple of months for Stern to repair, we sent him our own NIB Rush LE and he received it the very next day. We will wait on the repairs.
    - We attempt to provide full transparency to our customers or potential customers, even if it costs us a sale. I personally would rather receive truth I don't want to hear than someone blowing smoke up my ass telling me what I want to hear.
    - We relay information to our customers and to many non-customers via emails, texts, calls, and the podcast that I produce, giving weekly updates on Manufacturer timelines and changes to production lines.
    - We maintain competitive pricing. We sell customers pinball machines for MSRP and often provide free shipping on top. For those manufacturers that we do charge shipping, we often cap the shipping costs to the customers and we pay for the rest ourselves. What many do not understand is that when are receiving 25% or less of the number of products we were expecting this year, then yes, we have to figure out creative ways to fill that void. We have chosen a couple of different avenues, one of which is increasing our preowned sales efforts. So when you see a game listed at Market Price, that's why. I will purchase games on the secondary market for way above MSRP if my market analysis suggests there's still some profit to be made. This isn't easy work and it's risky, but again, we've got to do what we've got to do to run this business. And if that means purchasing a Star Wars Premium Comic Edition for 10k used and hoping to sell it between 10500-11000, then so be it, it's better than not making sales to support our business and ultimately our family.
    - We spend countless hours and money supporting the pinball community. Tens of thousands of dollars are spent toward charities, tourney sponsorships, giveaways, etc., much of which isn't aired publicly.
At the end of the day, there are plenty of great dealers you can work with. While we would love to earn and maintain your business at Flip N Out Pinball, we know the reality is that some of you do not want to support our business for whatever reason or maybe you already have a great relationship with your dealer. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, we support your decision and still see you as a pinball friend and fellow hobbyist.
Sorry for the long thesis, but wanted to chime in to express our continued support to you and to the rest of the industry. Please come and chat/BS with us at the next show! We are in Texas in one week woohoo!
Oh...and we do have some exciting additions coming soon at Flip N Out Pinball, such as a revamped website, a new showroom, and a new employee to expedite troubleshooting/tech. and warranty claims.

Zach I am sorry that you felt you had to post all of this but I understand why you did. I think the majority of us that have dealt with you already knew what a solid person and a good Distro you are!
As for the distributors in general and what is happening right now i am happy that they can make some money and move some inventory. Times have not always been this good for them, I remember talking to an unnamed distributor who got stuck on a pile of Xmen LE a few years back. He had cash tied up for a long time and may have lost money on that deal, so it works both ways. Things are good right now but when it flips the other way these distributors go out on a limb trying to guess how many games to order or sometimes from what I understand almost being forced by Stern to take on inventory and then if the title isn’t a good seller they may be stuck with inventory, I imagine it could make for some sleepless nights!

    Quoted from PDXFlipper:

As far as I understood it the last run was indeed the last run

Man I hope not, if so I will add it to the list of Pinball’s mistakes that I’ve made, not picking up an IMDN pro when I had the chance.

    Quoted from Beechwood:

When is last years run of EHOH supposed to be built? I am on the list.

Of all the lists for different games I think that this is the hardest one to get on at this point, I hope stern holds to their word (this time) and builds them at the end of this year.

    Quoted from beltking:

Avengers shipped Monday and FedEx just called delivering tomorrow. Glad I’m near Stern.
4 New pins this week… got monster bash le, Metallica, tmnt le, and avengers prem.

OT: I know I don’t need to say this but... PinMonk is one of the good guys in this hobby! His products are well thought out, install clean and to many (me) are worth the price! The guy backs his stuff and is extremely helpful on the backside of the sale!

    Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:

Any educated guesses on MSRP for Q1 EHOH?
The Premium was $8700 on its last run.
    Bond Premium is $9600.
Why do people who speculate on EHOH assume it will cost considerably more than other Premiums?
Is the consensus that Q1 EHOH will be $10K+?
I have been chasing this title for years.
I might finally have a shot at one, but will I pay $10K? I can’t imagine I would, no.

Elvira was a studio title I believe, which like Batman which was a Kapow title typically price higher than standard Stern cornerstone titles.

    Quoted from RikeIsland:

I can’t wait to pay $2000 over what I was originally quoted about two years ago for EHOH. The game has a still a beauty though.

It would be neat if Stern could throw a bone to the guys they rear ended when they shoved them aside to make the 40th anniversary games instead of the run of premiums they were supposed to do last November. Maybe say hold the 2022 pricing for the guys who have invoices from 2021. What do you say Gary? it’s Christmas, come on don’t be this guy....

Just saw this on the Elvira thread..

    Quoted from Vino:

    Wait for some is over!
Received confirm today Elvira is finally happening Q1 Feb/March.

    Quoted from GRB1959:

Yesterday I received an email from Kingpin Games saying that EHOH premiums were going to be run in Feb/Mar of 2023.
    Gord

I wonder what the price will be

    #4609 1 year ago

Wow so $2000+ more than I was invoiced when I originally ordered my game.

    #4644 1 year ago
    Quoted from madamyates:

Cointaker is taking deposits again for IDMN. Any idea when these will hit the line? I suspect March/April but that’s a wild guess.

    Supposedly in May

Well I guess I’m feeling a hell of a lot better about the fact that I don’t have any funds for a new machine!

    Quoted from jhallsuxatpinbal:

That’s how it sounded to me as well. Like we might slide production around as we see fit. So if they decide to delay it a few weeks based on a higher demand games parts coming in earlier than expected then thats what they will do. He said they are coming so I’m sure it will be soon. The reality is stern will decide if they go on the line next week or not. Honestly he seemed frustrated to even answer the question and I’m sure he gets that one a lot

Sounds like it could possibly be a parts availability issue as well. I’m just hoping that they can get EHOH built with the parts they have before they decide to use them to build a 41st anniversary edition Elvira machine

    #4965 1 year ago
    Quoted from Joker19:

What special parts would EHOH have that would make it so rare? I could understand the projectors for Stranger Things Prem, but can't see anything crazy for the EHOH.

The mansion is a fairly complex mech from what I understand, it is definitely pretty unique.

Agree with GB and Tron, but I would want to see them on Spike with LCDs instead of DMDs

Would also like to see MET added to that list.

Close call for the EHOH crew! With FF dropping I’m guessing if it hadn’t already been run it probably would have been delayed again.

    #5412 1 year ago

Is there really more demand for these...

    July 2023 - AIQ Pro & Premium
Aug 2023 - Star Wars Pro & Premium
    Nov 2023 - Mandalorian Pro & Premium

Maybe there’s a bunch of people waiting on these games but it just seems odd that Stern would make these instead of other things that have large back orders. (GZ DP JP EHOH) or run some STH.

    #5415 1 year ago
    Quoted from qbass187:

New Season of Mando started TODAY. So probably makes sense for another run if they have the parts.

That’s a good call forgot about that factor, it probably has more to do with parts in stock or availability.

    #5421 1 year ago
    Quoted from JBtheAVguy:

I doubt they'd build them if there were no demand. They know what they're doing.

I’m sure there is some demand but you can still get Star Wars pro, Mando pro & premium new in box from distributors.. anyway I’m sure they have their reasons, im guessing it has more to do with supply chain/parts management ect
