Ah, gotcha. But that Indy layout is so crap they'd have to change so much they might as well just start over, or copy/mirror another Borg layout that works. But honestly, I don't have high hopes for the new Indy movie based on the trailer, so enjoying the awesome B/W pin and calling it good is probably enough.

He told me he keeps on complaining to stern that the toppers are taking entirely too long to be made.

Presuming its still node boards delaying toppers, I support their decision to make more pins instead of toppers. better for the hobby.

I believe toppers are independent of the pinball line.

George Gomez talked about how toppers and pins share similar parts, so he was like “do we make more pins, or make more toppers? Easy call if you ask me”. Or something to that effect.
The reason they designed them this way was to keep cost down and streamline logistics. Obviously the state of things these last few years caused that plan to bite em in the ass

Different part numbers for sure. Probably depends on if a particular topper needs to drive some LEDs, but likely very similar to those.
