Quoted from Seatmandan:

I have a DH, and I really like it. Nice pin for the money!

Real fun machine.

#133 5 years ago
Quoted from initfo:

I'm trying to go see it saturday, but someone beat me to it and they are getting first crack at it friday morning.

TZ for $3700 isn't going to last till Saturday unless something is fishy.

#137 5 years ago
Quoted from Wariodolby:

Somebody calm my disappointment of not getting TZ ,trade me your RBION that will calm me down

I'll never git rid of TZ or RBION!

#145 5 years ago
Quoted from initfo:

Forgive my ignorace spinner, what do you mean exactly?

Yeah some people just don't like re-imports. I have 2 of them and they're fine; condition is king here or from another country.

#152 5 years ago

The only re-imports I would stay away from are the newer Sterns that have all the weird crap out in them; like extra buttons and save posts. LOTR is long enough as is.

#155 5 years ago
Quoted from silver_spinner:

with a reimport..
if you operate,

Yep that's a whole diff'rent ballgame for sure.

#158 5 years ago
Quoted from cfh:

For example Rob, the T3, Simpsons Party, and LotR you have experienced with this option are probably the ONLY ones that have this factory option in all of North America.

Ahhh ok thanks for filling me in. They are def the only ones I've seen before; thankfully

#203 5 years ago

Whom got that JP in Ann Arbor by me this week?

#209 5 years ago
Quoted from RCA1:

Be aware that the place is scary as hell, but the seller is a very nice guy.

Funny I've been in those situations where I feel like I could either get a good deal...or be murdered.
Welcome to the DH club!

#211 5 years ago

My brother is aboot to sell some earlier SS "Complete" playfields...Disco Fever I think is one I think. Just checking if anyone interested.

#213 5 years ago
Quoted from Zampinator:

C.P.L. Check into it. You'll feel comfortable in any situation!

Ha...whilst I'm certainly not against someone's right to carry, I wouldn't want someone bringing a gun inside my home.
AKA, don't bring a gun in my house where I have a bunch of guns.

Does anyone have any playfield in bad shape they are willing to sell? Condition doesn't matter much, I just want to try my hand at playfield touchups and have a project I'd like to use some for (bartop). Please let me know. Located in southeast mi

Looking for a HS playfield...used or otherwise...just let me know.

#431 4 years ago
Quoted from kruzman:

I have a HS pf by cpr. It is the most expensive of the 4 grades they offered, I know this because I bought it originaly (not just taking the word from someone I don't know on ebay)

I'll email you again Ron...I guess the first one didn't go through.

#453 4 years ago
Quoted from edwinpblue:

What do you guys think about a trade consisting of my acdc for a mustang plus cash. The other owner and I are a few hundred dollars apart. I'm thinking $600. Thoughts?

Can you get more than that? I know these games are on the opposite side of popularity but I'm not solid on their pricing. I for sure would rather have a Mustang though.

Alrighty...what's going on down Michigan way these days? Anyone selling EMs of Early SS?
EDIT: For non-recockulus prices

#590 4 years ago

Damn I love me some Whirlwinds but I need a super solid example to take my off the track of EM or Early SS.

Edit: nevermind I was under the impression the AAPM was someplace you could go to play pinball. Maybe because it has "museum" in the name.

No worries you can come down and see us when the weather is nicer, and see one GREAT show!

You can even play in a tourney and get your ass handed to you by your truly

Quoted from silver_spinner:

i just dont think mods or leds should add to a price honestly. think about it. the game is supposed to come with lamps period...

This is always my Point of view also. Another issue that comes when people replace boards or get them serviced, and try to pass the price on. "It's got a brand new Rottendog board...that's gotta add $200?!?" No, it doesn't. Price is based on a working machine, just because you replaced a board that I could have fixed in 10 minutes doesn't mean shit to me.

But no big whoop...if I don;t like the price I don;t buy it and we all move on.

Quoted from Dayhuff:

Pool Sharks is a game I never played until just recently...cool sys11 for sure.

#750 4 years ago

Hmm....good question. I don't think I remember multiball in it.

#753 4 years ago
Quoted from cfh:

I find it interesting that Rob is moving towards "cheese games", with his current favorite being Torpedo Alley.

Well since VFW is now the "Data East factory" it's slim pickins!

#755 4 years ago

No offense on the thumbs down...but I am morally obligated to thumb down anything that includes NBAFB

#758 4 years ago
Quoted from Wariodolby:

I've sold Shaq Attacks on this forum and never got a thumps down.

Well whom can thumb someone down for selling a Shaq Attack...I mean really....Kavorkian did prison time for mercy killings

#760 4 years ago
Quoted from Astropin:

But how can anyone ever justify taking someone's money and then handing them a Shaq Attack?

Too true...but people have families that need to eat

There will be a small open house this early summer, as well as when ever anyone wants to come by to see what is available, or play some games.

Sounds like a good time.

Which is why I would never do it for someone else! $400 would be a steal on 100 hours of labor. $850 would be $8.50 an hour; I doubt many around here work for minimum wage.

Well if you're taking 120 hours for something that shouldn't take that long I'm not paying union wages

But seriously, if you're taking all the mech off the bottom and cleaning them that's just OCD.

"2- When selling games/parts in a regional for sale forum thread only quick blurbs will be allowed. That is, a short description of name, price and condition. The regional for sale threads are mainly geared toward inexpensive project games, warehouse finds, or other cheap games that you are just trying to to sell locally. For-sale posts in this section cannot be full-blown marketplace ads. If you want to post an extensive description (e.g. list of mods a game has) or post photos of your game, a marketplace ad is mandatory. Of course you can "embed" your ad in any (regional) thread of choice using the new feature described below."

At least I can stop donating to pinside now...seems they got enough laying around.

SW pro or met pro? Michigan, help me decide!

Have you played GOT or SW that much? The scoring is not for everyone, I would be sure you like that if you're thinking SW.
If not MET is a fine choice.

#5044 1 year ago
Quoted from gorgar007:

All I know is I really like the "X" in my TWD prem. Multipliers in SW seemed to be similar but more controllable. Do you find it to be similar?

SW are multipliers all the time. Anytime you hit the 3 bank it increases up to 20x the shot value and you can double that to 40. It's pretty nutty, you can move the multipliers around to diff'rent shots to get your max valuel very unique. If you havn't seen it look up some video on youtube or something...like I said not everyone cares for it.

MET is rock solid with CIU modes and being able to to get 4X jackpots going. Some people feel it can be a bit "grindy" as a collection game but if you play it right it doesn't feel that way .
