Quoted from Underspin:Otherwise it will sit on CL until the price drops or the seller gives up. For example the $900 non working "Flash" in Traverse City is down to $500 now (still not sold though).
Has anybody here seen that Flash? I'm in the market for an early SS project to putter with and have seen that ad. Wondering if it's worth $500.

For comparison, three Flashes sold at the PATZ auction for $100 each I think. They were in rough shape though, but complete. Flash is what, a $700 machine in operating condition? You would have to make the call at $500 for that project. Still a little high for my taste especially if I have to run to TC for it.
in ohio but close looking for trades 2000ish stern wants are RCT, HRC, rbion, monopoly, i500
will trade some or all.
High speed- works but some switch errors, has led and superbands and the bottom right flipper needs some adjustment. Really nice playfield and backglass is pretty good too. Cab good, comes with extras and topper
MMAO
Stern dracula project-empty head but complete playfield and worn in some spots again it's a project -250
Gorf arcade machine complete but not working pcb or power supply issue. Early model-400
I also have a nice williams flash too that needs a few boards playfield is nice too
Open to trade's or offers
For a non working Flash I would pay 300 max if it's really nice. The pics on the one in TC show lock bar holes in the cabinet.
Quoted from PinballJeff:Did Gribbs sell his?
Right game, wrong time. To KingBW go the spoils.
Thinking about putting up my Addams Family. Good above average, player's condition machine. Was previously routed machine. Some inserts are peeling (3 million & Graveyard). Wear under the flipper buttons but not down to bare wood. Has full cliffy set installed. There is wear under the cliffy on the chair hole. One pop bumper needs some attention (does not work consistently). It's all there and complete. Plays well. NVRAM installed.
Anyone care to give a suggestion on an asking price?
Quoted from nosro:Right game, wrong time. To KingBW go the spoils.
I know how you feel! I wanted it & your X-Men LE!
Quoted from RyanClaytor:Long shot: I have a Demo Man and would like to work-out a trade for a Batman Forever.
dont do it!
I disagree hilton, batman forever is an awesome game, I have owned it twice. I went to turn it on the other day and it greeted me with the usual lets flip on it, but the dmd and the pf inserts are not lit. The dmd is getting power just not displaying. If anyone has a idea of what to look at first, please pm me.

The Let's Flip is the soundboard startup sound. It is its own computer and boots up as long as it is given power. The dmd driver board is the same deal, so if it and the dmd are getting power it should show its boot screen.
My first guess is that your 5v is low on the cpu and dmd driver board. Check your voltages.
Quoted from Zampinator:I know how you feel! I wanted it & your X-Men LE!
I just looked at your collection: Fireball (1971) and Hobbit (2016). With 7 machines, you are spanning 45 years.

Check back next week. Chris could have changed his entire line up by then. He flips more than Mary Lou Retton.

I think this is a great idea!

Lol! If there ever was a case of the"pot calling the kettle black", this is it!
I resent the term flip. I play, & then move on. If I was flipping I would be making $, instead of losing it.
Plus half the games I own I've bought from you.
Anyone interested in a Pirates of the Caribbean? I've got one I just shopped out. Lots of new parts including new parlay plastic ramp (the big one) and decals, new spinning disc decal, new green stand up targets, rebuilt flippers with all new parts including new flipper coils, new trough opto boards, etc. It has Comet 2SMD frosted white LEDs in the GI. PM me if you are interested. Thanks.

LOL.
Wait a second....it's allowed to sell a game for more than you pay?? WTF?!?!
We do have multiple games in common but that just means we both have great taste.
Created a marketplace ad for the Pirates of the Caribbean I just finished shopping out. Check it out here:

Hey guys I have a nice Data East Playboy for sale or trade.
For about 1500 over value
Quoted from Msch:For about 1500 over value
Great Scott! Another pinside stuck in the year 2000 with prices. Back then liquidated route games flooded the market and new Stern's were $3400. Btw I would love to have owned all the Bttfs, Playboys, tmnt, poto's when they were selling for $400 back then. You can have your opinions. But they are not welcome on my ads.

Hey Michiganders... I have been seeing this ad for Pinball repair near Grand Rapids and was wondering if this was anyone on Pinside or if you know of him.
grandrapids.craigslist.org link
Not only do I have some work done myself, but I might be able to refer him to others that come my way. Thanks!
I know him and I would recommend him any day of the week!!! Great person and knows his stuff. He had repaired a number of my machines and is really reasonable on his rates.
hope this helps
thanks
I just listed a very nice condition Addams Family Gold (#865) in the Marketplace. It is available in Auburn Hills. Asking $9,600. PM for more pics and info. Thanks!
Selling a players condition Earthshaker. I was going to keep it and wait for the CPR reproductions to be released but I think I'm ready to sell or trade toward a DMD title.
I have a very nice backglass and a NOS playfield for strikes and spares. Anyone need anything?

looks like a great deal. GLWS wish I had the funds for this one.
Quoted from aalucero:looks like a great deal. GLWS wish I had the funds for this one.
I don't know about great, but I'd certainly say it is fair. The game will still take some work but for those who enjoy that aspect of the hobby then yeah a pretty nice way to add a stern to your lineup for cheap.
Ice cream man, if you find a BK project that you want to do up right, I have a silver knight pf set. its a numbered 30 pf's that have the deep colored inserts and the knight on the upper pf is silver, plus a big plastic set with lots of extras, and I think there are some upgraded plastics included, and it has a number plack. this is 13 of 30. I kept the t shirt for me
