    Besides the obvious.

    Nothing for me.

What do you like better than pinball?

Playing pins with friends, drinking beer and loud music.

The world could end around me and I would still be trying for the sea of simulation and not even notice.

Anyone have a passion that exceeds pinball?

If someone says that something is better than, "The Obvious". They must have the wrong partner.

Same... I live near Tahoe but the winters have been more like summer for the past few years.

I think family & sex both qualify under the "obvious" heading.

Pinball is my favorite hobby at the moment but I've had a lot of hobbies.

My last big one was competitive pistol shooting. I've done both "bullseye" ( Springfield Competition Target 1911 .45ACP & Rugger Hunter .22 with a 7" barrel; both red dot scoped) and "action" shooting (EAA Witness Elite 9mm 19 round mags). I still dabble in them from time to time.

Played a lot of Texas Hold'em for years. Used to golf more......used to SCUBA dive.........

    Talking about pinball, apparently.

In case some of you aren't sure, sex is better than pinball.

True to a point.....but when you're done playing pinball you don't have to hold the machine in your arms and force yourself to stay awake while it tells you it's feelings.

I agree with this, but unfortunately auto racing proved to be too expensive for this teacher. Pinball isn't cheap either, but it is WAY cheaper than racing.

Few things in this world top the thrill of clandestinely pounding one out at the public library to a pilfered copy of Glamour magazine.

A fast boat on a warm summer day - skiing, tubing, and hanging out on the beach. End it with a quiet sunset over the water and a slow idle back to the dock.
