My STTNG is failing switches 16 & 17 ever time I turn the game on. After looking through the manual I find part A-17064. Do these go bad?

Thanks.

They are eddy sensors and they can be adjusted, I had one that was coming up as stuck. There was a thread on this a couple days ago. Anyway, I think there is a variable resistor on the board. Using a small screwdriver, turn it until the LED on the board turns on, and then turn it back until the LED just goes out. This is the correct setting

Thank. I will give it a try before ordering new ones.

Also, I think you want the circuit board assembly, not the cable harness??? This is a link to the PCB assembly
