Long story short: I'm 16 and when I move out and everything I want to have a Arcade/Pinball machine collection. After watching a CGR(a youtube reviewer) review of Black Hole(one arcade machine that Is on the top of my list to get) I realized whats so awesome about pinball collecting. Now I'm not gonna be like some of you guys here with a shitload of pins because only a few Pins Interest me visually(the artwork and the play field) but I will have more than 3.Now I'm here asking what Is the average cost of these pinball machines in pretty good condition?
Black Hole(Gottlieb)
Spirit(Gottlieb) I heard these are really hard to find In the US but It dosen't hurt to ask
Meteor(Stern)
Galaxy(Stern)
Orbitor 1(Stern)
Solar Fire(Williams)
Also what would be the average price to ship these to me( as I would not be willing to drive HOURS just to pick up 1 pinball machine. Thanks and I will be looking forward to keeping up with this site.It seems to be great so far

nice to see the younger crowd giving love to the classics.

Yeah the whole reason I love classic Video games/arcade games/pinball machines Is because my cousin game me her Nes with 16 games around 8 years ago.I have around 500+ Video games(goes to show how much I like retro gaming ).I only wish that other people my age can get past the primitive graphics of older Video games and the at first glance simplicity(because some pinball machines are much harder than they look) of pinball machines and really enjoy them/

Some of those titles are pretty decent, and carry some very decent pricing. There are two things I would stress to a noob or younger collector.
1: While CGR has fun, amusing and informative videos, collect what YOU want. There are hundreds of titles not reviewed by CGR that you'd probably enjoy just as much, if not more. You have a couple years to read up or try and play some of the great ones, and by then your mood or taste in pins could change,
2: Study repair. Game such as Spirit, Black Hole, and Solar Fire are all 30+ years old. These pins require tune ups and repairs from time to time, just as an old car does. It's no fun to get your ''trans am'' only to watch it sit in the driveway because the motor blew
GL!

No I found out about and played Black Hole(via Pinball Arcade) one day after looking up PSvita demos on the PS network. After playing, It quickly became my favorite.flash forward like 5-6 months later, I was watching the CGR review of It and after watching It I saw the real thing In action and realized I had to have It.So CGR had nothing to do with me wanting a Black Hole pin(I wanted It before I saw the review), It only made me want it more.

So X, are you thinking of getting games now or are you asking about pricing so that when you do move out you'll know roughly what it's going to cost to get the games you like?
The reason I ask is because if you're going to be living at home for a couple more years, there's really no way to know where prices will be when you move out.
If you're looking now, it would help if we knew roughly where you were (state at least) so that we can help you find games or give you better pricing information as location can affect cost.

I'm asking about pricing. It will have to be when I'm 18 which Is In 2015 because I(If I had the money) would not be allowed to have a Pinball machine In my room as I have no room for one and most importantly they would not let me spend 1K on a pinball machine(they will barely let me buy a $500-$60 Video game, that Is If I wanted to buy one as I have not yet).I am In Clarkston GA.
