I have a condition that (after 23 years) was diagnosed as Sensory Neuropathic Cough. Basically, my body decides it needs to cough sometimes. Often quite suddenly and very violently. It has made me coin new words that you can use too
Coughfart: Duh..cough so hard you fart
Coughomit: Yep, cough so hard you throw up
Coughaint: uh huh: cough so hard you black out
There are drugs to try but the only change I ever had from taking them was tinnitus in both ears
Coughing was socially unacceptable for the longest time
The last 2 years have sucked ass....
My youngest bought me a shirt to wear "Chronic not Covid" that helped I guess?
