Here's a similar thread with some very cool ideas

    Quoted from jawjaw:

I always liked the idea of a special ball like the powerball in TZ. You get special modes with the ball or have to make certain shots with it. I would love to see something like this used in a different game.

I agree. I'd like multicolored, shatterproof clear balls that represent a different mode. They obviously wouldn't react to magnets, but would look awesome, nonetheless. Kind of like this:

    Quoted from jlm33:

How long would they last? How heavy are they? Have you tried them? Just curious.

I've never actually tried them, just throwing out a random idea for the heck of it.

I heard that the powerball in TZ required extensive engineering and testing for weight and durability in order to be used in its modes. I'm sure that clear balls like the ones I mentioned would require a similar testing process so they wouldn't shatter into splinters.

    Quoted from pinlink:

Agreed. I would like to see use of other balls as well. Different balls could have different objectives.
Similar to TZ where you have to get the Powerball out of the Gumball Machine, then complete a certain objective. There could be say 3 different trapped balls in different areas on the playfield that you have to release and then do something with them. That would be cool.

Check out post #71 on this thread. I agree with what you're saying.
