I have a 1949 Chicago Coin Pin-bowler... it's in the IPD, but not here?
    http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1788

I'd like to post it in the marketplace, but it won't let you without the machine in the Pinside database.... advice?

    #2 7 years ago

Contact the staff, list it as another game, or you might be able to list it as parts although it would show up in the wrong category. I can see why they do this to make it easy and good to view threads (with good titles, something people seem to be bad at) but this is clearly a flaw in the system. Hopefully they help you out! I would suppose it isn't very common anymore though with a lot of titles being accounted for.

I was wondering the same thing because The Rolling Stones L.E. (Stern 2011) and Spider-Man Home Edition (Stern 2016) are not part of the database either. I submitted a query about it last week but have not heard back yet.

    #4 7 years ago

I had the same problem when I had a 1947 Bally Rocket woodrail and I couldn't add it to my collection I sent an email asking for it to be added. Never heard back. Later when I wanted to sell it on the marketplace I sent another email to no avail. I ended up selling it on another forum however.

What other forums are you posting/looking at? Not that I don't love pinside.. but want to look everywhere for potential finds...

    #6 7 years ago

Thanks y'all. I sent them a message as well and referenced this topic...hopefully in numbers we can draw enough attention to get some of these added.

That happened to me too no love for what many consider to be the 1st pinball machine a 1931 Automatic Industries Whiffle...pinside...dude?!?!?!

I'm just posting here to let you all know that I'm looking into this. I believe that moderators can add machines in the database, and am getting verification on the process to do so.

For those that said they emailed with no response... who/what address are you emailing? Moderators don't have access to email here, it goes straight to Robin and he's been traveling for weeks and is very behind. (The absolute best way to reach moderators/"staff" here is a feedback thread or PM one of us directly.) I saw no moderator feedback threads regarding this. If I can figure out the process, I'll get them loaded for you all.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I don't know who y'all have been e-mailing, but I don't recall getting requests to add games lately. Or maybe the anti-spam robot ate it. Or I'm just too busy

I'm gonna be making the game adding procedure available to all verified users soon.

In the meantime, please send me a PM (https://pinside.com/pinball/community/pinsiders/robin/contact?subject=Please+add+this+game) with all the details of the game you want added.

Or even better, just post your request here in this thread!

Don't forget to include all game details!

Again, sorry for not responding to your enquiries. I should probably just disable the contact form for logged-in users because my e-mail inbox is killing me lately.

Please include all important game details, like manufacturer, release date, game type etc. Or at the very least an IPDB link or something.

    Quoted from ForceFlow:

    Pin-bowler
    Bally Rocket
    Spider-Man (Home Edition)
    Double Play

Is there a corresponding IPDB entry that you can link to? I'm not familiar with these early PM games.

Thank you so much! Another one that needs added is Impacto (Recreativos Franco 1975). There is only one known example in the U.S. at the PHOF in Vegas, but there are several more in Spain where the machine was built.

Mine was restained with all aftermarket solid brass hardware (orig hardware saved) which was nice and had the nicest instruction card i've seen yet with little fade to the blue ink. It doesn't get much better than this one its all original and in amazing shape 3K and worth every penny.

    ebay.com link: like

okay what about custom games or does it get too complicated? i have a one off acdc built in 2003 and a custom built rush pin.

    #21 7 years ago

Maybe add the new AFMr ?

We have added custom games before, as long as they were more or less finished and different enough from other games to stand on its own.

Entries for AFMr are already there.

Its appropriate that the custom RUSH pin belongs to a Canadian.

Could this game PLEASE get added to the database of games on the site so I can record my high score on it? Out of the 691 different games I have kept track of a score on, THIS is the only one I cannot enter on Pinside because according to the site it doesn't exist!
Thank you again for all the great work you do and hopefully soon we can see Gottlieb's 1949 King Arthur And His Round Table listed on Pinside!!!
    Thanks again!

This one isn't in the pinside database....

Today I noticed one game that is listed twice in the database with two different dates. Out of Sight (Gottlieb) is listed once as December 1974 and a second entry has it at January 1975. All of the scores posted are on the 1974 version, so I assume that is the correct one.

    It's not for sale.
But I would love to ad my Bell Games World Cup/World Championship.
I believe it's 1 of 5 , and the others are lost to time.
One may be in Belgium still with the maker, unknown.
