Dr Dude. The thumper bumpers have excellent action but also a unique sound to them which I prefer to that of the newer games today.
In this game you enjoy watching the ball fly around, occasionally getting into some machine gun like action, but you also have to be weary of the exit that can suddenly go SDTM. Pops are so far away yet always dangerous.

SoF...or maybe HS2...one of them.

Oh jeez, I fell for a redirected thread again.

I really like World Cup Soccer. One of the pops serves a dual purpose, as it is also provides a randomisation bounce action around the Striker/goal area. That is brilliant.

Added to this, it is pretty much perfect geometry in regards to getting some additional lane action. Not too easy to score. Not too hard. Plus there is two ways out of the pop bumper area.

I used to think T2. Now I think AC/DC.

Riverboat Gambler & Addams Family.

I may be a bit biased on this one because I own it, but KISS can be dam fun when they get going, and they sure do on mine. Probably the best part of this pin.

I find this so critical to enjoyability of the pop bumpers. Some games (such as Hurricane) have one way in and one way out, making the pop bumpers seem like an irrelevant extra step.

I know this is an old thread, but I was going to start a topic just like this. Rather than a new thread, I thought I would I think the pop bumper action in Firepower is great, as well as Cosmic Gunfight. My Black knight 2000 has some good runs too.

Cyclopes's lower pop bumper has a little cove to its self and gets a insane amount of action. It also makes for a very unique and interesting experience near the flippers. Can't say enough good things about the game.
