It really sounds like you are going to buy 3 machines in the next 6 months. So, you may not realize that when a remake is "announced", it can be 1-2 years before you have the game in your home. And other times, it may never happen at all.
If you want 3 new games in the next 6 months, just buy what is out there right now. Overpaying for something is the least of your worries if you are going to drop 20K on 3 new games.
Top 20 classics? I don't know what this means.

Right, but how many years in the future, if ever? I just look at it like, you must not like that game THAT much if you haven't already bought one for the current going rate.
