surprising how many times WOZ came up. Wow!!
Quoted from SuperPinball:The theme of Williams Disco Fever kills it for me.
And not the banana flippers?
Quoted from Animal:surprising how many times WOZ came up. Wow!!
Yeah, it's just too complex and interesting for some of the shoot-flashing-lights types here
I'll also turn down later Chicago Coin machines with the crappy score reels - Hollywood, Jukebox era games. There is no way to get them working 100%
Quoted from jfesler:Rescue 911. That machine has been the source of much repair hate at the museum. Took us months of lobbying to get it replaced by something else.
The mother of all "stop-and-go" games. HATE that helicopter.
Sad day for pinball if you wouldn't take a free game.
Everyone has their own opinions on games.
Pinballs were meant to be played and enjoyed regardless of theme.
Enjoy the history and the future of pinball.
Promote pinball whether you think the game is good or bad.
I think the thread needs to be taken in with a grain of salt. I mentioned the new KISS because I think it sucks so bad, but do you really think anyone including myself would pass on a free game? Not likely

I would, a WoZ specifically, Id tell that person to go F himself.

Always have wanted one.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Granny and the gators.
I was actually hoping to find one of those at some point. I even have a vidiot board that I was tinkering with on my bench. I've got 2 other hybrid games already, so one more would help complete the collection
Quoted from Darcy:When it is free, and you see a mouse looking back at you from under the playfield glass. That would still be a pass.
Live, deceased, or mummified?
I've seen a number of games that were able to be rescued after they had been home to a mouse.
Quoted from JoeJet:The Simpsons Pinball Party.
OK, didn't realize we could flip the game. If we can flip it of course ANY game would be taken for free. If I HAD TO KEEP IT IN MY HOUSE AND TAKES UP SPACE then TSPP.. I hate that game man.
Quoted from ForceFlow:I was actually hoping to find one of those at some point. I even have a vidiot board that I was tinkering with on my bench. I've got 2 other hybrid games already, so one more would help complete the collection
Yeah that would be cool to have all three, but it's sooooo bad compared to the other two.
I also assumed we had to keep the game and couldn't flip it. That makes this question a bit more interesting.

There was a Big Top around here last month that was little more than a "mousequarium". The whole playfield was obscured with a giant mouse nest. Forget free--you'd have to pay me to get me to take it--clowns *and* mouse urine!
Some dumb ass comments in this thread. Several of the games mentioned you could fast sale for 6K in about 30 minutes or less. Never even have to unload game from your truck before someone is coming to get. I guess some people do not like free money. Or it could be a good first game to give to a friend.
I accept any game, IF restorable.
Not a fan of parting out games by myself personally, so in those cases, I give the honor to another.
Judge Dredd is the worst pinball machine ever made. I booted it out of my house after owning it for two weeks because I hated it so much. And if someone offered me one in excellent shape for free (the actual question), I'd take it, even though I'm over capacity.
You guys saying you wouldn't, good for you. Nice to see people rejecting pinball machines worth 7k given to them for free.
Quoted from centerflank:I would, a WoZ specifically, Id tell that person to go F himself.
So Flank, you not only reject the game, but then get angry at the person for trying to give it to you for free? Do you then go punch Jack to make yourself feel better? May as well pour bleach on a WOZ on location to make sure nobody offers that one for free as well.
Quoted from chuckwurt:I also assumed we had to keep the game and couldn't flip it. That makes this question a bit more interesting.
YUP!!
But....send all your unwanted/despised games to this address >>>>
If i can't find room for it and can't do anything with it there's always a need for firewood and the smell of melting plastic in the evening
Quoted from SuperPinball:The theme of Williams Disco Fever kills it for me.

Booooo
Quoted from Animal:surprising how many times WOZ came up. Wow!!
Yes,and we are all so sure they would just cast it away and turn it down for free....lies...lies...lies...
Quoted from sleazius:There is literally no machine I wouldn't take if it were in good working condition and free.
I can tell you haven't played El Toro..
None!
Pins are like donuts, all are good in some way - although my absolute favorite variety might be glazed, if you offer me cake or powered sugar I'll enjoy them too. Any donut is better than no donut! So it is with pins - I've yet to play a machine that wasn't enjoyable on at least some level, though of course I find some games more desirable than others.

Correct

Most definitely no live mice.
Quoted from balboarules:Street Fighter II... I would of course sell it, but if it did not sell, I would tie it to the back of the car and take it for a nice drag on the highway!
+1,000,000 easily the worst game I have ever played
Quoted from Jjsmooth:I can tell you haven't played El Toro..
I played EL TORO back in the 70s at arcades when it was new OK game but not a title I would seek out.
Accept it for free, yes, but not pay $$$ for it.
Quoted from cooked71:Orbiter 1,
Orbitor 1 would certainly be welcome at my house. 890 made, just got to love the call out "Shoot Pinball" "Shoot Pinball". Although I would most likely eventually sell it off to someone else.

You're right - I'd keep any game for a while if it was given to me. Except if I had to give up another game from my collection to fit it. Guess I could just give it to a mate to look after. Orbiter was fun for about 3 games. Might be a good party game after a few beers though.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Captain Fantastic
Go sit in the corner and think about what you just said.
Quoted from CactusJack:valuable board set inside. Plenty of container games came in missing major assy.
Of course if I could not sell it, I would remove the boards, offer parts to the forum, then it goes for a DRAG! It would never be in my house though, snow, rain whatever...
Gosh, I didn't realize there's so much hate for Street Fighter II. As a fan of the video game, I'd take one "just to have."
Now, as for William's Jubilee/Darling. Yikes. Even for free, and as someone with limited space, they'd really just be a giant wooden boat anchor in my basement. Except a boat anchor might actually be more fun.

Long story short, It was the first game I ever brought back from the dead.. it was in a basement with no boards, display, playfield wear, etc.. did a full restore on it, had a buddy paint the wear spots perfect, tumbled every metal part, tore it down, rebuilt it, bought boards, dmd, cables.. Only to play my first game on it and realize just how HORRIBLE of a game it was.. I always say, I should have left it dead where I found it.. of all the games to be my first to bring back to life... I even painted the black back onto the window that showed the car crash... Every time I see one I cringe and remember...
