You either hate the theme or the music or shout-outs, maybe its the gameplay. But even if given you to in excellent shape, what would you turn down???

Edit: You can't flip it. Your turning it down cause you don't want the pin taking up precious space that could be occupied by a pin you really want.

If it were free, I would never turn down a game unless it was infested with termites or was a significant biohazard in some way.

Agree, I don't do Stern. Can't stand anything with their name on it.

I would still take a WOZ. Some day, a parts machine is going to be awfully valuable!

Freakin El Toro... NO DOUBT. Absolutely awful.

Assuming I can't sell it, Monster Bash

#12 8 years ago

Street Fighter II... I would of course sell it, but if it did not sell, I would tie it to the back of the car and take it for a nice drag on the highway!

The Simpsons Pinball Party.

I'm not a big fan of 1970's and up Chicago Coin EM's, I'd have to pass on them. My pinball space is a premium to me now and I've become more selective of what I want to spend my time on.

Hercules... For the win!

#27 8 years ago

Hercules. Too big and plays like you're doing Quaaludes. Or Orbitor. I mean, what's the point of that silly game?

Captain Fantastic

Some of these commenting would be the first to grab their keys if someone told them "free pinball machine" wait a minute...maybe I would as well.

Lol Alive!!! Home unit

Owned many Wizards but never a Captain Fantatstic. Don't like the dual flippers.

#32 8 years ago

Rescue 911. That machine has been the source of much repair hate at the museum. Took us months of lobbying to get it replaced by something else.

#33 8 years ago

Any cocktail pin like Roy Clark, Caribbean Cruise, Take 5, Hearts and Spades, etc...

I'm right with you, worst pin I ever owned, sold it at a loss just to get rid of it. El Boro

Worst thread ever!

Anyone who says they wouldn't take ANY pinball machine in nice shape for free isn't a real pinball enthusiast.

#37 8 years ago

If you weren't allowed to sell it and it had to occupy a permanent spot in your gameroom I could literally think of hundreds of games I wouldnt want for free!

#38 8 years ago

This one works for you?

#39 8 years ago

Many games... I just don't have room for anything I don't love.

#40 8 years ago

There is no such machine. I would then flip it faster than a ratburger.

#41 8 years ago

I'd hafta say I'd pass on Hercules! What a piece of shit!

#42 8 years ago

There is literally no machine I wouldn't take if it were in good working condition and free.

That's not necessarily true...if you only have x amount of space and your current lineup takes up x-1 amount of space...you don't want to fill that last remaining space up with some pin you aren't crazy about. Most people are saving that last space for a pin they really want...not just any ole' free pin.

Force II

even when new, the operator had to bribe people to play

and the art work is bad

#46 8 years ago

This

Quoted from ForceFlow:If it were free, I would never turn down a game unless it infested with termites or was a significant biohazard in some way.

And this

Quoted from SealClubber:

#47 8 years ago

When it is free, and you see a mouse looking back at you from under the playfield glass. That would still be a pass.

Douchey!

Lol. I heart you flankster.
I have traded off my "great" wpc/bally titles for pos Sterns. I'm a happy camper. Some might say a dumb and happy camper. But, nonetheless... Happy

IJ4. Just too much stuff right in front of the flippers.
