Every time I go in there I see you with a playfield up. Thanks for keeping that place together. Can't wait to see one of Sal's MMR in there. Which stern (white star to present) has been able to take a heavy beating and which ones are a nightmare? Have you noticed a comparison with Stern now using a higher gauge wire in their machines and service issues? Thanks for this post.

Quoted from _litz:

Stuff the screw holes with toothpicks, too, to get the screws to really grip well; should help prevent them backing out.

I sometimes use a bunch of paper/wooden matches to stuff the hole if toothpicks aren't around.

The person who fails Modern Pinball is that short/fat guy w/the eastern block accident at the front desk. My girlfriend and I went there once and he was kinda rude (like a put up or shut up/this is my place way), so I just chalked it up as East Coast Mentality to my girl, but she said, "NO, that guy at the front desk is just an Asshole." She's from Jersey, so I guess she'd know better then me.
I won't stop going there when I'm in town, but that dude at the front desk needs to be cool. I

Yup. I'm sure guys can have bad days, but leave it at home and not at Modern Pinball. He can be that way to me all day and I wouldn't care, but when girls or new people walk in that front door, he should have a little more compassion.

WTF! Eddie, please start another thread in the future regarding your repairs. You know your pins. "Through chaos comes opportunity." Thank you for all your insights and pictorials. Keep doing good things. Ps. I noticed the buck on buck hunter wasn't registering earlier today and could only imagine that the machine must be a daunting task to fix at times.
