Late to the game here, but thank you, Eddie, so much for this thread! The pictures in particular are a godsend for learning about pinball repair and the kind of issues one faces. Many repair threads use lots of terminology, assuming that people are already familiar with the terms and what they refer to. Having pictures along with the text really connects the dots for me.

Also, I absolutely love Modern Pinball NYC - my entire family makes the trip down to the city every few months for a few hours of sweet pinball action, and it's a real joy playing the range of machines from KISS to Punchy the Clown, all in great playable condition in no small part due to your ministrations. Thank you!

Just another voice in the chorus - this thread has been fantastic and a constant source of learning for me, particularly as a newbie. Through his many posts, Eddie really demonstrated his smarts, skill, and enthusiasm for pinball repair, and it's galling that Modern Pinball would let such an incredible asset like Eddie go. I love Modern Pinball and have spent many happy hours there, but I worry about the future condition of the games and the business itself without Eddie making sure the games are all in tip-top shape.

All the best to you, Eddie, and thanks again for your illuminating posts. Please post here if you wind up putting together a pinball repair blog - I'd subscribe in a second.
