I have played a Travel Time in the past and would like to add one to my collection. I have found its sister counterpart, a Summer Time at a fair price. Comparing the two machines on IPDB really does not differentiate the two games. Travel Time is listed as a replay version, and Summer Time is listed as a novelty version. I understand the difference between replay and novelty, it just confuses me why WMS wasted time creating two different machines just for this reason. Both appear to have the extended play mode.

So I guess my question really is, will a Summer Time play just like a Travel Time? Clock counts down and you have opportunities to add time to clock as you play on. Are there any changes to the games rule sets?

According to the note on IPDB:

[Travel Time is the] Replay or Extended Play (timed) version of Williams' 1973 'Summer Time'.
