New guy question : I have read the term "fish wear" in several market posts but I am not sure what it means.
Anyone willing to take the time to explain or better yet post a good example of what it is?

I may be even more confused than before, but at least I got a few chuckles.
But seriously, how is fish wear any different than any other type of playfield wear? At first I thought it was wear specifically on pins with fish, but Roadshow was mentioned to sometimes have fish wear too. Maybe fish wear just refers to the area above the flipper bats? Is it that obvious of a name?
The ball kicks out of the scoop on Road Show and can cause wear near or on the fish. On
Fish Tales it's not caused by a scoop kickout but it's still wear on the playfield near artwork depicting fish.
