    Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

A New Toy arrived today from Germany!
Ranier Popp and his 11th piece and is MASSIVE!
    Over 2 Kilos!
    Solid, heavy....a piece of Art.
No clue...this one could take me a few years to open!

In 5 years when you open it Art, please sell it to me. Sold out, not even listed.

    Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Just to share, most puzzle locks that are custom made in limited numbers are around $400-$500 when released.
This one was a beast at just under $900.
If one likes the puzzle aspect, mass produced puzzles will peek at around $50-$100 from a designer.
There are some good buys and experiences.
This is one of my favorites, and is mass produced by Wil Strijbos, around $150 ish. First Box.
Real good indestructible gateway into the hobby.
and another picture of the metal puzzle genre

Ive collected Salvador Dali since early 90's and made a pretty good side job doing it. Pays for many pins. I mostly sell to galleries and museums. Just sold some rare plates to museum in Florida.

More than collect. Its paid for all the pinballs.
I have several that are worth more than a Totan or Indy, MB, BBB etc. Wife I had a brick and mortor gallery for 4 years then moved to internet and ebay.
    That image is Hell/Inferno 21.
    Second edition, Italian.
Should be BFK Rives paper. I believe I see the water mark lower margin next to the EA.
EA, eprove artis...french, Italian, several ways to interpret that.
    Its all condition, condition, condition.
Fade factor out of 10, call yours an 8.
    Signature a 7, long story.
Value $500 , if on ebay add 10% for fees and paypal. Charge shipping.
Allow awhile to sell, can take some time. Want to move fast, go 400.

I have a Dali signed woodcut and like to know what it's worth now....

Only the 1?, they usually show up in pairs.

I've never even heard of a puzzle lock before your post. It looks interesting. Do you have a recommendation for one that would provide a few hours of enjoyment and not cost a ton of money? I'm not sure if I'd like it or not, but it definitely looks like something I'd like to try.

    Thanks Eric!
An art guy from our Cigar Club looked at it last night and said a top price would be around $800.
    lol...what's the signature story??

800 is a little high. And its the signature keeping it from that. That woodblock would actually be worth more without the EA and signature. Juat the image.
There is no way to authenticate the signature. Even with original COA and documentation doesnt help. All paperwork can also be fake. Id on verso it has a Jean Estrade signature then your good. Your edition will not. Jean didnt sign the back of that second Italian edition.
EA also means artist proof, meaning it could be a second with small printing flaws. Marketing in the 70's at galleries kind of came up with that scam to make customers feel it was something speacial. When really it's the publishers proof had the higher value.

    Quoted from undrdog:

Nice. So, how do they get it to bubble without losing water?

I'm so guessing. But I think it's oil, so it's harder to evaporate.
