I just changed mine yesterday. My husband said my avatar made me look like a crazy cat lady. So I changed it to the Addams Family playfield because my husband is doing a playfield swap on our Addams Family.
Long story on mine, but it is a drawing of my son a friend of his in the Civil Air Patrol did as a college art project.
My son was a Cadet Colonel at the time and loved Star Wars (note the Rebel symbol).
My son was serving as a Warrant Officer in the Army, when he was killed on September 3, 2011.
I use the picture as my avatar on all public forums in his honor.
I just picked a random pic off google images.
Maybe you cagey veterans of pinball can identify the playfield the pinball is rolling on?
3-2-1 GO!
Storekeeper: Yes, sir, can I help you today?
Nevada Smith: Can of peaches... A big can please!
Storekeeper: [Giving him a can] Best Eastern peaches in the West.
Nevada Smith: Would you open it for me?
Storekeeper: No charge!
Quoted from Zappa:My dog (Irish Terrier), my beer (Guinness) and all that goes with it.
Your username and dog avatar reminded me that I need to listen to roxy and elsewhere soon. I know your buddy isn't a poodle but close enough.
Quoted from blownfuse:Just like me, it was the ugliest fuse I could find that still worked.
Steve
Wow that fuse still worked??? I'm actually surprised you even tried it.
My avatar is a great metal album from the 80's. I know a lot of people bash Swedish metal bands, but I think Torch and Axewitch are exceptions. There's just something about this particular album that they haven't been able to duplicate on their other albums that, well, once you get it, it's just amazing!
The warrior within, striving to achieve peace with my father by destroying my brother on the racetrack of life.

That is my favorite movie of all time...true classic!
Quoted from loren3233:I can't stand the Raiders!
Every time I see your avatar I laugh.
Mine is because people call call me Stuby-Doo and what better way to describe that.
Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys, and my GB is for him as well! for when he was the Green Bastard
Don't know that my avatar is the Bubbls the OP was referring to though
Quoted from mcclad:Simple, and to the point. : )
Thanks for the affirmation bro. We need to remember that pinball is only a distraction hobby when the subject matter of our icons, boobs, are not available to play with. Though, sometimes I think buying and maintaining pinball machines is a lower total cost of ownership.
The picture is of Hurricane Andrew. CaneA is a shortened version of that. My name is Andrew and Cane A was a pen name for many years, used on any project that would have really gotten me in trouble.
I am the Track Handicapper for Running Aces harness park in MN. Avatar is my website logo, www.mrtrifecta.com
