The Right and Left buttons have the full words:
cab-carnival_queen-5 (resized).jpgThere is no factory explanation for the meaning of what the R stands for that I can find. Even in the Carnival Queen (the first game with an 'R' button) manual it is just listed as the 'R' button.
We have just called it the 'Replays' button since I was a little kid. I like Nicks' name. "Register Replays" button.
