I'm curious what everybody uses to find newly listed ebay items. I've noticed the few times I've sold off spare pinball parts, I get like 10 views on my listings in the first few minutes, before the item even typically would appear in an ebay search.
I've mentioned before that I make a decent supplement income buying bargains on ebay or other places online and selling the items for a profit. I used ebay saved searches for years. I still use them sometimes, but they aren't good enough to find the best listings fast, and I've been wanting to expand my resale business. I looked around for apps or websites that do automated searches and there were a few, but they look like they were created 15 years ago and never updated.
Since I've been a software developer for 20 years, I figured I could make a site that is better for my specific needs, and learn some newer technologies like .Net Core, MVC, Bootstrap, etc in the process to expand my resume. It does everything I need it to do, but I've made it available to the public. I wonder what features I'm lacking that other users might want. I haven't advertised it anywhere and don't want to spam it here if it's not allowed. It's only been online for 3 months or so, but in the google searches I do for it, it's usually the first search result to come up, so their bots like it. It's mainly for my use, but I do get a tiny percent commission on anything bought from my notification e-mails. It's barely enough to pay the hosting fees so far.
