Surprised no one has mentioned horseradish yet...Horseradish and mustard for me. Same lineup for Kielbasa. Sometimes mustard and relish only on a beef hotdog. Sometimes only spicy mustard. I do like the Chicago style hotdog though, rather buy that one than make it too many ingredients, to me a home cooked hotdog is fast food.

    Quoted from Fezmid:

Weber mustard is horseradish mustard - I think you'd like it.

I hafta say Grey Poupon is good stuff, just the right amount of nose irritating spicy. I like to mix straight horseradish in with already spicy or non-spicy mustard.

    Quoted from sunnRAT:

Anyone been to the Happy Dog in Cleveland? Ive only been there once but you can put whatever you want on your hot dog plus they have pinball too.

'Cause pinballers are can-do people I had to make some dogs after reading this thread. Straight horseradish and spicy mustard on top. Sauerkraut would help too...

We had bean-less chili for lunch sometimes when I was in public school. It was called a Sloppy Joe.

    Quoted from denoument:

Ketchup, mustard, relish, and celery salt.
What ever happened to Catsup? I don't remember liking it but I never see it anywhere.
Also Cincinnati area has some really good chili cheese coneys.

I think they serve that in neutral countries, mustard AND ketchup.

Joey Chestnut says, dog and bun, leave 'em plain. They go down easier that way. 76 times in 10 minutes. Unbelievable really unbelievable. ESPN had a 30 30 episode on him.

    Quoted from embryonjohn:

Being half Polish I basically had to work at a Polish meat packing company when I was a teenager in my hometown of Chelsea MA.
You may have heard of it…the company’s name is Kayem.
Its name is a play on the owners initials Kazimierz (Kevin) Monkiewicz (KM), he and his wife Elena started it, but I digress…
I watched them make those beautiful natural casing all beef dogs.
It’s not true what they say about never watch the sausages being made.
Still crave a good dog, especially in summer with beer.
I’d be interested in hearing if more people prefer all beef or pork & beef.

And they had Carl Yastrzemski as a pitchman back in the day.

Blue Seal kielbasa dog, horseradish and spicy brown mustard. Sorry these dogs are regional (Western Mass).
