    Quoted from centerflank:

LTG is a very wise man

And here I was just going to say there's no centerflank anymore.

I use to get a kick out of your posts cf, nice to see you're back.

I will say the one thing that is obvious to me, having been here over 10 years, is the incredibly amount of traffic this site receives. I remember when you could go away for a day or two and not really miss anything or even see any new threads. It was a little too slow, but it did feel a little more like a tight knit community. Some of the older guys were always Hell bent on growing the hobby, which would require the younger generation (currently under40) to get involved. Mission accomplished!
The hobby has grown so much these days that the chance of finding a deal on a beater are over. What is kind of funny is that some of the same people that had this innate desire to spread their beloved hobby to the world are now outraged by the higher prices the popularity has created.

I don't come on here anywhere near as much as I use to, but I think my favorite times were during the Predator and original RAZA fiasco. Some of the funniest and most entertaining posts were during that era and on those threads.

    Quoted from centerflank:

i really only stopped back for good shooter lane pics but I've been vastly disappointed so far

I think A little Flank comedy here and there would be nice. And Yeah, it's definitely a different eco system these days, but I still like coming on here and seeing what's new.

    Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

There are good people and assholes in both.

I'm sure thats true, but Facebook is the reality tv of social media. Total garbage, IMO.

    Quoted from RWH:

Pinside is not even recognizable anymore, many of the best have seen the site go from a true community of pinball lovers to a cesspool of asinine members who could care less about pinball or helping each other, it's all about show and dough, pinball is monetary venture for them period.

True, but there is still a surprising amount of people that are still here from 10 plus years ago.
