Lead engineer in product development...
Medical electronics
Quoted from Mudflaps:I work at McDowell's, home of the Big Mick.
I started out mopping the floor just like you guys. But now... now I'm washing lettuce. Soon I'll be on fries; then the grill. In a year or two, I'll make assistant manager, and that's when the big bucks start rolling in.
I just pissed my pants! Great and funny movie!
Quoted from Gnatty:I just pissed my pants! Great and funny movie!
Thank you! My goal is to make at least one person piss their pants every week.
Quoted from Mudflaps:Thank you! My goal is to make at least one person piss their pants every week.
At my age, that doesn't take much.

I knew you worked in a school but I guessed wrong.
Animator. I've been breathing life into videogame characters for over 10 years now. Before that did a bunch of TV/film work.
Quoted from beelzeboob:I'm an elementary school music teacher
Was it a love of music or your unwavering continual desire to shove long hard cylindrical object into your mouth?
Quoted from c508:Librarian... am really hoping vid1900 chimes in with his job too (as I have speculated about it many times).
I'm pretty sure he would have to kill us all after he told us.
I'll throw my hat in. I'm an accountant for a medical center focused on Research Finance.
After 20 years accounting gets very boring, for me at least. Same information new audience. I'm pretty sure I've been to meetings where the presentations are exactly the same as they were 5 years ago with a new number filled in.
If could get a do over I would have focused on Data Science as the work they are doing in Research is amazing.
whatever it takes to pay the bills - started as a district manager in circulation for dow jones - switch to teaching math (retired - no pension)- now work as an accountant at local hospital part time.
used to flip pins to make money for my own collection - wow can't wait to see the hate coming - now buy houses in disrepair and fix them on the side for rental or sale - i do that with friends and family - sometimes you make money - and sometimes you lose - but it's great working with friends and family

I'm in fundraising at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in a 6-state radius. Before that I was selling corporate sponsorships for UAB athletics for a couple of years. That was fun, but this is way more rewarding.

Quoted from Orko:Law enforcement. Wish I would have went into IT lol.
I did and it isn't all you think it is! lol I don't miss standing in the cold, but I do miss the folks. I don't think any of my programmers here are going to enter a dark warehouse with me at night unless it is to get a better Wi-Fi connection. Nothing against programmers in general....that is where I started fresh out of college, but LE is traditionally a different lifestyle than programming. (But there are the occasional badass programmers out there too, just not working here. lol)
Quoted from hawkmoon:Now,I just play my pins, get high, and listen to Pink floyd!!
Same with me except I listen to sports radio in between bartering and gambling. I'll buy and bet on anything.
Quoted from BoJo:Quality Assurance at Stern Pinball
Seems like a lot of people around here are!
