Got a new Ghostbusters and want to put some of that thin removable mylar behind the drop targets.

What do you clean the playfield in those areas to prep it for applying the removable mylar. And curious if down the track if I need to replace these pieces do I use the same cleaner to clean any adhesive off and re-apply.

Just don't want to damage the clear coat - any advice would be much appreciated as my first NIB.

cheers

Vid's got a whole post on cleaning playfields but basically start as gentle as you can and work up. Vacuum it, and maybe use a little Novus 1. ***NOT NOVUS 2***. Novus 1 isn't abrasive, so you'll be fine to use it.

Novus 2 is fine to use but unless there's some serious dirt like inlane trails it's overkill.

Anti static foam spray to clean then a light wax with Gerlitz.

CP 100 might do the trick. Always great to have on hand also.
