I was looking to get a replacement ribbon cable kit on both my Theatre of Magic and my
World Cup Soccer . Some of the vendors sell cables with these ferrite cores or ferrite beads. I don't know what the purpose of these ferrite pieces are. Can someone give me a little explanation of what they do or how they work and perhaps also if they are necessary? If they are missing, would it cause problems somehow?
