I have been working on a williams Grand Prix em for a while. Got everything fixed. Played a couple of games and..... BOOM! No power.

What did I learn? While I like the game play, the nostalgia, and the idea of EM pinball. I hate working on them. I know. I know. Once it is dialed in it will work forever. Getting it there is a pain.

I learned to check all parts when they come in and not when you go to do the repair. With the friendly affordable shipping rates of most suppliers I usually order for all the games I plan on fixing at once. Picked up a set of insert decals for riverboat gambler. Two months later I have the playfield torn apart, old inserts cleaned with paint removed, and what do you know... My new decals are clear instead of white lol. They said they would replace still so I guess all is well.

I learned today that when trouble shooting always check the simple things. Maybe someone down the line has put 6 sound ROMs in a board backwards and that is what is causing your lack of sound
