I had to speak to my wife a bit more than I normally would and I also tried Aussie arcade which sucked , not the people , just the website .
I also searched out to play Pinball I found a few games I'd never played before . Also got into Twitch a lot more .

I stripped the top side of a game and about 1/3rd of the bottom. Managed to put most of it back together. But now waiting on parts I broke.

Researched 2021 Jeep Wrangler. Think I’ll buy the diesel next year. Researched battery powered generators. Purchased an EcoFlow 1300.

I was bored. Tech support was down. Like last year when people were stuck at home more. Maybe playing games more than working on them or modding them ?

I was/am still working on the RFM Barn Find, a lot of the Playfield issues are sorted, I have a couple of switches that seem intermittent, I'm now starting to head into my insanity phase, where I try and make it the best RFM according to my tastes, yet I have yet to re-build the whole cabinet, I'm just concerned I'd spend as much on power tools to get the job done as a SWE1 but I have no desire to have an SWE1, and the tools I could use on the next restoration project.

Figuring out that Robin will get more than one year free server service...
Every 15 minutes equals one free day, company probably thought they were bullet proof ...

    #12 6 months ago

I bitched A LOT, clicked my bookmark a million times, talked shit about Robin a few dozen times. Oh, and I finished restoring a White Water.

    #13 6 months ago

I was so bored I started polishing my troughs up to and including the kick bracket

I bought a bunch of new games. All without asking Pinside if I should. I hope I didn't screw this up... Oh and lots of porn of course.

Was out of town for most of it, but did get two honey dos done

    #16 6 months ago

I started building a life size Bender robot from Futurama.

Made the decision to start saving for a home I want to build when done with the military in 8 years.

    #18 6 months ago

Definitely had Pinside withdrawals. Managed to repin a 70’s Bally I recently picked up. Probably wouldn’t have finished it if I could have stopped to get on Pinside.

    #19 6 months ago

Why can't I select all of the above?

    #20 6 months ago

Practiced and polished up on my DeepRoot delay excuses.

    #21 6 months ago

Got a crazy amount of new ramp molds done.

I was vacationing down in Florida. Different world down there than jerz. We kept it really safe though

Yard work. Which sometimes is pleasant and relaxing, but raking out many sq. feet of stubborn dead crabgrass, seeding, top soiling, more raking, pfft. At what age are you allowed to say you're too old for this shit?

    #24 6 months ago

Talked to this lady in my house that claims she lives here and is my wife. Highly doubtful as I've never seen her before.

    #25 6 months ago

Attended Ohio PinBrew. It was amazing. Thank you to the organizers and all that brought machines. I had such a good night.

    #26 6 months ago

I tried to look at ipdb....

At least for those titles i didn't know much about

    #27 6 months ago

    Kept checkin PINSIDE !

    #28 6 months ago

I was so bored I talked to my wife. But all I talked about was a pinball price bubble, chipping clear coat, and what themes should be made next. She’s pretty damn happy the website’s back up!

I had Covid for the last week. I have been in bed sleeping.

Most people just moved to Facebook pinball groups to complain.

    #32 6 months ago

I finally convinced myself to buy a new set of boulders for my White Water. Another piece of boulder broke off during a game and I decided that was the last straw. Hopefully these new ones last a long time!

    #33 6 months ago

Spent more time playing pinball than reading about pinball

    #34 6 months ago

Laughed at all the “pinside is down” posts on FB.

    #35 6 months ago

During the Pinside outage ( and the Easter break ) I decided to give my games room a tidy up . Stuff had piled up to the point that I couldn't even get to some machines . Gave some machines a bit of a fix and got them to 100% again and others that need a bit more work are in the queue . It's a little bit embarrasing though when you come across parts for machines that you don't even own any more

I rebuilt my Bally DR WHO Pop bumpers. Swapped the the original Tardis for a USB one. And played a zillion pinball games at MoMs in College Park.

    I kept busy...

    1) Played pinball at home.
    2) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    3) Did a wash job & tire check on my car.
    4) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    5) Played more pinball at home.
    6) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    7) Ran a bunch of errands for my 99-year-old father.
    8) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    9) Got the first of my two COVID vaccination shots.
    10) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    11) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    12) Even more pinball at home.
    13) Re-checked Pinside (still down).
    14) Did probably my first location play in almost a full year.
    15) Re-checked Pinside (and lo and behold, it's finally back up!!! And here we are!!!).

Yes, it was all in that order, more or less

Pulled a vintage mower out of the weeds and started a restore.
Started on a bed rail project.
    Started cleaning out the attic.
    Started cleaning out the barn.
    Bought more gold and silver.
    Bought more food and supplies.
Checked Site status about 7 times.
Started cleaning up undergrowth from a Conifer in the yard.
Listened to Kaneda one time to see if he mentioned the Site going down.

    Most important watched the Grandbabys.
And started restoring a NIB Billy Bass I found in the attic to scare them with.

    Switched hands.

After you were abducted by aliens in the other thread. It must be nice to have the left hand on the left arm and the right hand on the right arm.

Been there. Shouldn’t be more than another day or two.

I paid much better attention to new movies. Made me realize maybe I should put my tablet down once in a while.

I was busy completing wellness checks on all the habitual pinside posters. Wasn't sure they would all survive.

Made a new thread about this when I was apparently the only person able to get online

    Hit F5 religiously

It's been busy for me anyway since we just moved houses. Like in the other thread posted above, I spent time in other forums I've been away from for awhile.

I took the opportunity of not having to check for Pinside mail to reduce my board work queue.

Built this WPC-89 power board for someone who only has a single machine that was not working. It was received and the machine is now working.

    01_wpc89_power (resized).jpg

Built this System 11 CPU board for someone who has a board with extensive alkaline corrosion. It's now finished and awaiting bench verification.

    02_system11_cpu (resized).jpg

Started repairing this System 11 interconnect board for the same person with the alkaline corroded System 11 CPU board. It's almost finished.

    03_system11_interconnect (resized).jpg

As soon as Pinside came back up I started getting more Pinside mail.

I tried my other hobby which is fishing, but sucked at it and tried to get on Pinside while sitting by the lake.

Lol , I would also accept your excuse delays were due to weather or unforeseen circumstances or just an internal goal that wasn't achieved
