What did you do during the Dark Times with no Pinside?

I found myself reflexively taking out my phone and hitting refresh only to get the dreaded timeout message.

Meanwhile, someone actually came into my arcade this week and GC’d the games that were out. Some of us seem to have taken this downtime to actually play some pinball!

How about you, what did you do to cope?

Note: I stole this idea from a snide detractor on the loathed F$!#Book.

Sorry, you're all alone here. The main site is shut off and only beta users are currently able to log in.

I didn’t expect the beta users to take so long to realize! They’ll see it eventually

It was a dark time for sure. Glad Pinside is back!

The paramedics had to come over and help me with my withdrawal symptoms.

I read how to play AIQ. But learning what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.

I kept busy with a LOTR playfield swap.

I used the time to concentrate on my dream of having over 120 individual games in my basement game room! Pics forthcoming after I clean up.

    Pulled the stencils!

I continued posting/discussing pinball on other social media/websites. Pinside is not the only option, but apparently some people think it is?

I actually got in two days ago but it was taking so long to go to the forum, I hit refresh - and that was the end of that. Glad to be back for hopefully good...

Even if it goes down for a couple hours for maintenance I’m cool with that. At least things are under control now.

    Constantly hitting refresh?

Several times a day. More than I’d like to admit

Instead of reading Pinside I read book reviews and found some new Fantasy series to read. I spent more time on other forums I haven't visited in awhile, and did the morning on the pot Pinside reload to see if it was up.

Just got two weeks of scores loaded into here.
Played a fair bit of Iron Maiden and JP. Starting to get a feel for the shots and for what KME wants me to do. Becoming quite a fan of both of these games the more I play.
