Great show this year... show us what you got!

Many thanks to Kenny (NC)... I snagged this mint original WH20 boulder set for practically nothing. Hey Kenny - shoot me a PM!

Also snagged a Gottlieb 6-dig display and this “how to play” Black hole fold out (assuming ops had this on hand for locations).

Alien Star Retheme. Wicked cheap, has Red Ruby legs. Works fine, just have to figure out the game plan to making it look...different.

My wife enjoyed it so that could happen! Seeing another Tron in person made me remember how gorgeous that game is though.

Last year I brought home a Toledo, this year a Stern Magic.

There were many Magics this year.

Three EM projects, a very nice "Top Card" cabinet, some hard to find EM parts, and a Gottlieb "High Seas" backglass from Mayfair.
The van was jam-packed.

No it came in Sat morning and i was second to respond. I wasn’t expecting it to get to me but he msg’d me and it was still available. I left it in Freeplay until the end of the show. It was near the loading door entrance.

I bought a game and parts from my youth. Little Chief and some original NOS (not repro or decal) spinners for my Hokus Pokus.

I found this unique tool. It's a coil sleeve cutter, perfectly machined to take the longest coil sleeve, and allow you to trim it down to 6 different sizes. We'll see if it's worthwhile or not, but it was cheap enough to give it a try. I'm always short on the coil sleeve size I need, so only having to stock one size should make things easier.

Let us know if it works good or not, could be very handy.

I picked up two pins, a GOTG Pro and a 1972 Williams Super Star. Despite being light years apart, I really enjoy flipping both of them immensely.

Also, got some cool pinball signage, 2 sets of mirror blades, a couple small mods, and some other hardware stuff.

Great selection of vendors!

#33 4 years ago

Sold a game, but didn't bring home any games this year.

Found a pair of parts drawer cabinets in the flea market that were full of various chips and other components. Haven't had a chance to go through them yet, though.

Did a pre-arranged pick-up for a bounty hunter backglass for a weather damaged project game. I'm still looking for a decent cab and backbox for it.

And that was it. Usually I'm bursting at the seams with stuff packed into every square inch of space, but this year I went home fairly empty handed for change.

I echo the last post.

It was great meeting you as well. I also appreciated the tips you gave me about promoting a pinball event.

I look forward to making it out to your show in Saratoga.

No games this year but did buy some stuff for a Mata Hari EM project:

1. Nice Bally shooter rod housing
2. Backglass trim/lift bar, coin door bolts from Gatecrasher.

For restoration work in general bought a nice playfield rotisserie - thanks Nic Raschilla for the suggestion.

#44 4 years ago

Bought a players Pinball Pool that played well and 40 sheets of playfield glass.
Plan on spending some time restoring the Pinball Pool playfield and put a playfield protector on it.
Should turn out very nice once done.

I grabbed a very nice Bank Shot from zacaj and put it in the tournament bank all weekend. Replaced the silver ball with a “cue ball” (power ball) and the game played very fast.

Also grabbed a nice Fish Tales from @shlockdoc. Silly me unwrapped it and let the head drop to the ground, cracked the topper cover only. No other damage.

Also grabbed a project New World.

#50 4 years ago
Quoted from luckycreature:

Outback I think, its the company vehicle.

To get Spring Break in not only did I strip the back seat and hatch flooring out and I had to unbolt the head from the hinges and slide the head forward on the cabinet. There was just enough room to slide in with some wiggling. I would have taken my truck but rain and I don't have a cap, perhaps I'll look into that.
