    All,

    I came across this inexpensive CNC on Kickstarter that is designed to cut an entire sheet of plywood (4' x 8'):

    When I saw it I thought it could be used to cut pieces that assemble into an entire cabinet. Was curious what others thought about it (functionality, safety, etc.), and what (preferably pinball related) you might try to make with it.

    It looked interesting, but the use of chains seems like the CNC would lose some stability and accuracy since there is some "give" in those chains.

    I like the idea of a cheaper & compact solution, though.

    Unless your using ball screws there will be backlash on anything you use.
