I need to replace a couple of Playmatic connectors... any idea what these are called? Even better... know of a source? The holes do not line up with molex, so I can't use those as a substitute.

He tried me first. Unfortunately, I have no idea on that one.

If the housings are good, pop out a pin and measure with some dial calipers. Mouser may have them. They look close to the same size as the pins for CRT deflection yokes. Heads up, you may have to make measurements without removing the pin and order a pin punch when you find the pins.

Being a European game the connector pin spacing will likely be metric which may add to the difficulty finding replacements.

I would just change the connectors for some that are easier to find.

It's the housings that I need. They are old and brittle.

Do you have a suggestion for what those might be? The header pins are 1.5mm, and spacing is 4.96mm (I'm sure it's 5mm if my hand were steadier with the calipers) center-to-center.

maybe possible to use an existing connector for a model and 3D print a new one?

For what it's worth, I would take measurements and good close-up photos and call / email Mouser Electronics or DigiKey. They will be able to help. With thousands of connectors, you are trying to find a needle in a hay stack.

Molex, Amp, Amphenol, Tyco, etc make thousands each. I know I have extraction tools from many of the vendors, but we come across new ones from time to time.

drsfmd -- Let me know if you find these. I also have a Playmatic that needs these and I haven't been able to find them anywhere.
