What Comicbook Character/s Deserved A Pinball More Than Deadpool?

I ask because how funny is it that Wolverine does cameo work in Deadpool.
Yeah he was in Xmen pinball and Deadpool is mad popular in pop culture but he's not really an old character in comics.
    Batman got 4 pinball machines
    Spiderman technically 4
    Superman 1

Any others truly deserve pinball machine?
    Punisher?

Spawn. In collaboration with McFarlane Toys, I think there would be a lot to offer. Imagine the Heaven and Hell ramps or artwork by McFarlane himself throughout the entire pin.

I have to agree with VampireKangaroo. Spawn has some of the best art in the comic universe and a deep character who spans multiple universes and times with storylines all over the place. Spawn the pin could pull from the voices in the HBO series for pretty cheap (I'd imagine). I think Zombie Yeti could pull the artwork off if McFarlane was too expensive or unavailable.

The problem is licensing. McFarlane and Neil Gaiman have only just resolved a decades long feud over Angela/Cogliostro/Medieval Spawn (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/spawn-comic-book-todd-mcfarlane-neil-gaiman-286071). There is a ton to pull from in the universe like Violator and all of the past iterations of spawn (like Pirate Spawn!) but it'd feel empty without Angela and Cogliostro. They added depth and character to Spawn that didn't exist prior to it.

Add to that the fact that McFarlane is willing to go to court for 20 years over licensing issues and I'd think that would be enough to scare any pinball company away.

So... maybe a Squirrel Girl pin? I'd love to see a pin with universal acceptance that leans more towards girls/women. Pinball manufacturers need to make money and I understand that pinball is a male dominated sport, but I feel like it's a catch-22 situation. There are no pins that target women. If there were, would more women join the sport? If pins targeted the other 50% of the population... would it become more popular? I think we're ready for it.

If not, does Rick and Morty count as comic characters? Cartoon, comic, and soon to be Dungeons and Dragons characters/universe. R&M is quickly moving up my list of dream themes (behind Harry Potter and The Princess Bride now that Deadpool is here).

    Great question!

I think witchblade would look great as a pin,

The Flash or JLA comic book version, not movie, that way you get them all, GL, Flash, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman in their classic incarnations.

I'd like to see one where you play as the villain. I'd imagine you could do all sorts of fun tricks with magnets in a Magneto pinball machine. Magneto multiball was really the only redeeming part of the X-Men pin and I think that was only on the premium and LE.

And while it wasn't exactly a comic book, Calvin And Hobbes would be great, but Watterson refuses to even license them out for shirts. His prerogative though.

    #27 5 years ago

Also completely random, but I had a few of these growing up and really loved the cartoon. I'd love in a pin to choose to be a Yogi Yahoo or a Scooby Doobie, and try to race around the PF, only to have the Really Rottens try to thwart your plans (random drop targets popping up, weird flipper behavior, blinders like from Tommy, magnets...etc.). Plus Captain Caveman multiball.

Agree on this and There is a new Hollywood movie coming out next year 2019 with Jeremy Renner and Jamie Foxx directed by McFarlane. 100% agree it should be MacFarlane comic book art game would be amazeballs !

I second Spawn. Will never happen in a million years since McFarlane appears to be a control freak psycho (hey i said appears to be!), because of how he was treated and ostracised after leaving Marvel, and the noble experiment at Image.

I would really love to see AntMan or Doctor Strange.

And not at all the same thing, but Zen Arcade has games for almost every marvel character

No kidding, lots of to choose from. I was mostly joking but at the same time how funny would it be to see. The next Spooky release "Kenada". Game designed buy Kenada's favorite designer Charlie, featuring epic meltdowns at every corner.

    Modes
    Hack back into pinside
    F Dutch pinball
    Demon junk measuring contest
    I love JPOP
    Nevermind, Magic Girl sucks
Have I told you about Lord of the Rings?
    Why doesn't CrazyLevi like me?

For those of us that are relatively new to the forum, can we get a quick run-down on the story behind the whole Kenada thing? Not that I care that much, but it sounds almost mythical at this point. Just curious about what it's all about.

Ohhhh... That be a nice one... Actually I feel they could do a whole line up of Wonder Woman pins. Would love a lynda Carter one.
Would love a comics one, and maybe a gal gadot one... But, if only one would be made... I think I'd lean toward a comics one.
