Having some trouble deciding. Putting this to the wisdom of crowds.
It is up to you
If you are making permanment modifications, then the game is a keeper for you
What does the rest of your collection look like?
not much point making the game stick out like a sore thumb
(unless yoiu are gong for a color change for the rest of your games)
Don't do Powder Coat on High End games!! Powder Coat your Motor Cycle parts not your pinball machines! Plate your parts and send them to Chestnut! BTW I like the blue but would never recommend it!
I agree with Exejet.
Some people like it but I prefer games to be as close to stock as possible... at least the exterior trim. The only game I'd probably powdercoat would be gold on my standard LOTR.
That being said, I did put chrome trim on my MM and it looks great. It's not too far off of stock, but it has that extra little bit of class to it. I figured "shining armour" sort of went with the theme
Alex uses prismatic powders, which is awesome cause you can go to their site and pick out any color you want and Alex handles the rest. I picked sour apple for my mb parts and they look amazing. Thx again Alex.

You are very welcome

Quoted from haiderdj:I think the standard ones just look dull, especially over time.
You asked for opinions. 40% of people thus far say don't do it. If anything, just go with chrome.
If you don't even know what color you want, why change it? The best mods start with the idea "I know what would make this look great," not "here's something I can change, but I have no strong opinion about it."
If you must bedazzle it, my suggestion is black nickel. Chrome is perma-smudged unless you spend more time wiping down your game than playing it. I play the crap out of my Tron LE, so its chrome usually looks crappy.
It's hard to criticize a pinball mod without hurting someone's feelings, but man, that blue above is a total misfire. No offense intended, to each his own, etc.

I agree with all of this, especially the bit about the perma-smudged chrome, which always looks horrible. I'm also not feeling that purple-blue at all. Black nickel is the best of the presented bling options, but honestly on MM I think standard stainless looks the best.
