I knew this coil was looking bad when I got the game. It gave up the ghost last night and has no markings left and the game doesn't have a manual. Can anyone tell me which coil this is so I can order it in?

It's probably the same as other games of this era, sorry I don't know offhand. However, you could just bend the contacts together and eliminate the coil. Put the game on a power strip to turn it on and off, you're good to go.

Thanks. We thought of that but weren't sure how save it was. It's currently working till someone helps with a part number for me.

The schematic will tell the part number or these guys will know

But it's safe to do what johninc said and bend the contacts together or the like.

Yeah I don't have the schematic. Thanks for the reassurance that it's safe. I appreciate it. I'll try PBR tomorrow if I can.
