Quoted from NevadaNutJob:I guess loony toons would be good too . Play thru each main characters greatest hits . That would be fun !
I could even see separate pins for separate Looney Tunes characters. My favorites are Foghorn Leghorn and Yosemite Sam. I can just imagine the callouts: “Shoot, I say, shoot the left ramp!” or “Hit the rabbit, ya big galoot!”
Lots on unknown junk on this list. And no choice for Batman: The Animated Series? Mark Hamill at his best.
Quoted from Zap:I wish I could add Roadrunner vs. Coyote as an option. Some nice choices though.[quoted image]
It should be in a Loony Toons pin where each character is a mode building to a wizard . There’s enough material for atleast 5 levels of each character - probably more - so it doesn’t get too repetitive and stays Interesting with different stuff .
Iron Giant! A lot of great cinematic moments that would make great modes. You could have the head with the jaw opening and eyes lighting up as well as the screw that beeps off in a corner before everything lights up again.
Quoted from Zap:I wish I could add Roadrunner vs. Coyote as an option. Some nice choices though.[quoted image]
Go to the PHOF and play the Atari version
Missed this thread the first time around. I'm bored tonight, and I love cartoons, so...
Quoted from PinballManiac40:I hope pinball manufactures use this a guide for future releases.
Er, er... Good idea!
Quoted from Strummy:Ren and Stimpy
In 4th place! I would love for a drain callout to be "Steempy! You fat, bloated eediot!" Another drain: "No sir, I don't like it." Log Multiball! Everyone loves Log!
Quoted from NevadaNutJob:(Futurama) ...the call outs ! Bender - “ bite my shiny metal balls ! “
First place, with a solid lead, and for a good reason. It's great! “You win again, gravity.”- Zapp Brannigan.
Quoted from Jenniebear:Pokémon, instant buy for me!!
24 seasons of it should have registered! I would think anyone under 35 would do a double take and check out a Pokemon pin if they walked past.
Quoted from Hammerhead:Looney Tunes is iconic and deserves a proper pin, not the abomination we have currently
The layout is so godawful that no one would ever bother creating new code, even!
I want a new game, Bugs vs Daffy, featuring Elmer Fudd. Those are my favorite Looney Tunes. Dirty skunk season!
Quoted from crujones4life:I am the only vote for C. Brown?! Would be my number 1 choice!
Wow, and I say this one all due respect, you must be one mellow dude!
Quoted from nicoy3k:Bevis & butthead would be cool if it was a music pin
At least partly, like their show! Might be hard to get licensing for music you're going to make fun of, though.
I'd even like one from the spinoff, Daria.
Besides the exclusion of Pokemon, other criminally negligent omissions from more recent decades include
Gravity Falls
Adventure Time (as EdisonArcade pointed out, but didn't name for the old farts)
Steven Universe (well, check back in 10 years)
Bojack Horseman
Bob's Burgers
Big Mouth (which some swear by, I haven't seen myself)
According to popularity lists, a whole slew of anime we old codgers can only shake our heads at
And I'm probably the only person who would still like to see a Duckman pin.

I adore Steven Universe and I’ve been a fan since the pilot, but they really bungled the plot quite a bit, and totally wasted a shitton of interesting material in favor of filler throw-away episodes.
They had legions of cool background characters they just ignored. SU is wholly and completely anime-lite for the Western audience. It rips the plots of a lot of classic anime’s and waters them down.
Gravity Falls would be perfect, as Alex Hirsch created the entire store and perfectly wrote it out before they began. He planned every episode meaningfully and at the end of the show everything wrapped up perfectly. He’s excellent and modern networks should encourage more work like his.
Adventure Time would probably be pretty food because even though the show went off the rails, a machine doesn’t need to be cohesive to be fun. The bizarre and meandering plot could make lots of awesome modes.
What would be absolutely sick:
Cowboy Bebop!
Quoted from cottonm4:Jessica Rabbit would look on the back glass and the play field.
Include the laser disc shots ?
LTG : )
Much more recent but Gravity Falls would be a really fun title with the great characters and locations like the Mystery Shack.
Quoted from cottonm4:How about who framed Roger Rabbit?
That was a cartoon movie. Poll is about cartoon TV series. So that deserves it's own thread/poll with other cartoon movies.
Battle of the Planets and Ulysses, 2 cartoons I loved as a kid. I have no interest in any cartoon pin, just throwing some cool cartoons into the mix.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:That was a cartoon movie. Poll is about cartoon TV series. So that deserves it's own thread/poll with other cartoon movies.
My apologies. No intent to highjack. Didn't read it right.
Quoted from cottonm4:My apologies. No intent to highjack. Didn't read it right.
No problem. It may not be a clear poll as I think it is. Maybe start a new thread, with that one and others. Someone else mentioned the Speed Racer movie. I can't think of others like those two.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:TV series?
3 Seasons so far, it's a great show. Personally enjoy it more than Rick and Morty. Same creators.
Quoted from SLAMT1LT:Battle of the Planets and Ulysses, 2 cartoons I loved as a kid.
Ulysses had a great intro song but I don't think you can beat the original Spider-Man
More people know Mickey Mouse world wide then any other brand. This would be the biggest licensed game in pinball. First company to grab this will see sales beyond belief. The collector market for all things disney would bring thousands of new players to pinball.
249f53b235c794db96efb2c019823dfd.gifthe correct answer is the Original Jonny Quest. Theme music is iconic, villains are perfect and the Quest gadgets are endless.
Mickey Mouse? Sure, except that he was never actually funny as far as I remember, he is more of a mascot than a beloved character, and his name is now used to mean "lame" or "cheap" or "phoning it in"...
And the license would no doubt be astronomically priced.
Not to mention, MM is sort of already taken.
But yeah, I just bet all the little old ladies who collect Mickey crap would love a pinball machine!
(To be honest, I'd be in on an Uncle Scrooge pin, though!)
Quoted from Spock:3 Seasons so far, it's a great show. Personally enjoy it more than Rick and Morty. Same creators.
No it’s not. Lower Decks was created by one of the R&M writers. Harmon & Roiland have nothing to do with it.
Quoted from pascal-pinball:My son wants a "My Hero Academia" pinball
Already four seasons...[quoted image]
Both my kids are hoping for this! The whole quirk thing could transfer over well as a powerball to activate.
Admittedly, I watch it with them. They also would want:
Tokyo Ghoul
Gundam (endless waltz or 00)
Dragon ball (z or super)
No guns life (could be a great given the gun head)
Black Clover
Attack on titan
What about Star Blazers and G-Force !?! I recall watching both in the 80's and there was nothing else like them... (first experience with anime on saturday morning tv or something...)

That said... I think Scooby Doo and Pokemon would be the most commercially viable themes for large scale production

I picture this as a Pin2000/hologram machine. Similar to the Proto1 homebrew - https://www.instagram.com/AppliedCine/
Each level/mode is based on a character/cartoon short like stated above.
For example a haunted house level with Gossamer, Witch Hazel, the mad scientist.
I see an animated character standing in front/over the target, sort of like a video game sprite it may appear to be breathing or shifting its weight from foot to foot.
First hit the character will get bumped and lose their footing, arms waving air to catch itself from falling over.
Second hit they have stars spinning around their head.
Third hit they fall over and an angel version of them floats up out of the body playing a harp.
Additional hits (until mode is finished) will bump the body laying on the floor.
There could be a chase mode where the character appears to be running back and forth between targets.
A see a lot of possibilities with this idea.
