Let's have some fun with this topic. Any particular reason(s) why you made your selection(s)? Multiple selections encouraged. I hope pinball manufactures use this a guide for future releases. I tried picking the cartoons that were the bigger hits for their time.

I will vote Robotech as Star Blazers was not listed.

Special mention: Spawn, Happy Tree Friends,

    Veggie Tales

    #6 1 year ago

I still wish Iron Maiden was Archer as originally designed... An all new Southpark would be cool. As for new themes, Futurama would be the best and Scooby would be popular too.

    #7 1 year ago

Top Cat, Speed Racer, Jonny Quest. Wow I'm I too old for pinball. Nope not at all.

    #8 1 year ago

I would look forward to playing many of those listed - but I would only buy Futurama . More great content than you could fit in one pin . And the call outs ! Bender - “ bite my shiny metal balls ! “

    #9 1 year ago

    Pokémon, instant buy for me!!

Futurama is the standout for me, and I do have a soft spot for Ducktales. On the subject of ducks, I have to add Darkwing Duck as my #1

    #11 1 year ago

    Futurama, that is all.

    #12 1 year ago

Yogi, Captain Caveman, Scooby, & Inspector Gadget got my vote. Mostly Scooby though. Why no Tennessee Tuxedo or Commander McBrag? Those two would be great! The go-go gadget arm would have to extend across the playfield to snatch the ball at some point on Inspector Gadget.

Just saw Speed Buggy. Definitely that one as well, as a former Manx owner

    #13 1 year ago

I clicked Wacky Racers, but that vote is really for Laff-A-Lympics.

Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry are no brainers.

Just went through the whole list and didn’t pick one.

    #16 1 year ago

GI Joe!!! Split the playfield similar to Transformers with modes for Cobra on one side and Joes on other so at the beginning of each game you select if your a good guy or bad.

    #17 1 year ago

A new South Park would be awesome, but that option was not provided in the poll.

Eh, I thought one was enough.

Even though there are several Batman pins, one off the animated series would be an instant-buy for me. From this list, Ren and Stimpy or Futurama would be my pick if done right.

    #21 1 year ago

My son Speed deserves a pin. It is too bad that AP already did Hot Wheels, I would want them to do Speed Racer. The game would be missing assets though because no-one can afford me. Oh, and don't break the playfield glass because the schematics are hidden on there.

    #22 1 year ago

Futurama is the easy choice here. Such a cult classic.

Runner up is DuckTales. The NES game has a HUGE following, so much that it was remastered recently, and the show was also rebooted on Disney. Still super relevant. I’d be down for DuckTales.

    #23 1 year ago

Looney Tunes is iconic and deserves a proper pin, not the abomination we have currently

The difference between a 2021 South Park to the 1999 South Park game would be more striking than the differences between the last two Simpson games from one another. It is time for South Park to done properly with the new display, RGB lighting, packed code, and more sophistication than season one fart jokes...

    #25 1 year ago

It was really cool seeing Tanzor Z on the list. Talk about a cartoon no one remembers, and it was easily one of my favorite shows back in the day. Dark story and dark characters, great robot fighting, missile breasts, death of main characters...

I’d be unlikely to buy a Tranzor Z pin (it has been 35 years after all), but I sure would be excited to see one developed.

    #26 1 year ago

    LEGO movie!!!

    Everything would be awesome.

Sorry, missed my 2 hour window to add it, unless you can.

I remembered it, which is why it is on the list. Great cartoon for sure.

Ooohh, good call. Iconic for us 90s kids

    #31 1 year ago

I am the only vote for C. Brown?! Would be my number 1 choice!

    #32 1 year ago

I guess loony toons would be good too . Play thru each main characters greatest hits . That would be fun !

    #33 1 year ago

It kills my soul to think American pinball choose Hot wheels over potentially getting He-Man.

    Timmay!!!!

    How about Super Jail?

I'd also have interest in Futurama as well as new releases of South Park and Simpsons. Beavis and Butthead would have been a good theme 25 years ago, but not sure how well it has aged.

    #36 1 year ago

Ren & Stimpy would make great pinball. And I’ll add Avatar The Last Airbender

I'm looking at Astro Boy for my next retheme

    #39 1 year ago

I think He-Man has the most potential. Yes, there is nostalgia, but you will have an awesome art. I also picked Futurama because Spooky proved you can do a funny cartoon pin that is not really for kids.

I understand Simpsons isn't on the list because it's been done twice.

    #40 1 year ago

I think American Dad would make a good game.

    #41 1 year ago

    Futurama.....so many possibilities!

    #42 1 year ago

As hard as I cringe thinking about the icepick callouts, Sponge Bob pinball would be a tremendous hit here.

    #43 1 year ago

A sequel to The Simpson’s pinball party, there’s so much new material since then, I think a fresh new take on it, or a part 2 would be an instant hit.

    #44 1 year ago

Stern did a awesome job rereleasing TDK as Batman 66.

I'd like a see a new Spiderman game based on the cartoon series.

    #45 1 year ago

I voted for Johnny Quest, but doubt it would fly in today’s climate. Like the one where the guy ina wheel chair rolls himself into lava after they kill his Pterodactyl.

Well, it is top 3 in the poll. Keith Elwin's dream theme. No more to say.

    #47 1 year ago

There are some good choices in the poll. But it's all null and void because you left off Hong Kong Phooey!

    hong-kong-phooey (resized).jpg
    #48 1 year ago

    Akira would be rad.

    #49 1 year ago

    Ninja Scroll.

    #50 1 year ago

I think the things Carl and Shake might say could be pretty good on a pinball.
