Rockland Pinball has a $2800 Shadow in the Northeast US for sale thread. Maybe they shipped you the wrong one. If not, I would hate to see what the $2800 one looks like.

I haven't kept score, but the vote seems to be about evenly divided. I vote to send that piece of crap back. It's a reimport with water damage and the cabinet splitting apart. If someone missed the hacked connectors, do you really think they did voltage conversion right? Also, there's no way you could clean the playfield and not see that glaring screw poke.
Quoted from i_b_flippin:Maybe to the pros, all the damages are easily visible but to a newbie, those are little harder to just point out and I didn't get any pictures of the right side which has about 20 holes drilled into it.
Man, I'd sure like to see a pic of the 20 holes. I can't even imagine why somebody would do that. Are there screws in the holes holding the cabinet together?
As long as we've got the torches and axes out, I say someone needs to part that thing out. We know there's an immediate demand for the gun and 1 of the phurba daggers.
With all the missing, impossible to find, and screwed up parts, there is no way anybody is going to fix it up and turn a profit. I'm pretty sure it's worth more in parts. That playfield would be a very good candidate for restore and clearcoat. Somebody is going to want it. Doing a playfield swap all at once would be much more desireable than having a pin all apart for a month or 2.
