Found a presentation grade gold plated Vibroplex paddle key for $1 and sold it for ~$150.

Found a coffee jar with mysteries inside for another $1. The mysteries turned out to be antique ammo that sold for over $500.

Someone mentioned car models. I think yard sale guy wanted fifty cents for the Road Agent. I think it sold around $100. Buyer said they were going for more like $400 before Revell re-issued the kit.

Paid $3 for a box of pop rivets. Fancy aviation stuff. A dozen or so bags of 100. The lot sold for around $300 to a guy who said he was restoring a Corsair.

Actually not solder. I found 56% Ag. brazing wire on Amazon as low as $30/oz. Too bad there's only 12oz. to a lb.
