Columns (U.S. "Coctail Table" version, not that the "Table version" is a requirement) Better music, more challenging different scoring than the "World" or "Japan" version.
Columns II
Arkanoid
Astro Blaster
Pulsar (Gremlin)
Street Football (sente)
Tac-Scan (Gremlin / Sega)
Galaga (duh!)
Ms. Pacman
Mappy

Quoted from klr650:

If you have two 8-way joysticks, Robotron 2084 is a great adrenaline-pumping game!
If you can display Vector graphics properly, Black Widow is also great and has the same controls as Robotron.
Many SHMUPS (Raiden II, Do Don Pachi etc...)
Lots of fighting games...
The only other decent 8-way joystick game that I can think of is...Bubbles... [quoted image]

Bubbles uses a 49 position Joystick like Sinistar.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Food Fight is decent...

Food fight has an analog joystick.

There are a few that have the Hall Sensor Joystick like i-Robot.

Wish I could have got a better picture so you can clearly see the 3-D background behind the half mirror.

Quoted from dirkdiggler:

I'm still kicking myself for being too lazy to go pick one up recently. A 2 player popped up on Facebook a hr away for $100 a couple weeks back. I should have bought it just for the boards.

I'd like to know the numbers of units produced for both models. It seems the Upright is rarer than the C/T. This is only the second upright I've ever seen. I see a lot more tables than that.

It would be fun however to take an upright and set it up as a 2 player with a colour monitor though.

Quoted from Reznnate:

These are some of my favorite games but I find several of them frustrating in MAME due to emulation differences or controller issues.
Mr. Do!
Zookeeper
Juno First
Mad Planets
Robotron
Pooyan
Rescue (Stern)
Minefield (Stern)
Ping Pong (Konami)
Strike Zone (Cinematronics)

If you have Mr. Do! you also need Do! Run Run.
