Quoted from gliebig:

Is Warlords playable without the round controllers?

Mine is. I prefer using the joystick. I wish i could get player 2 to work though.

I agree with The Simpsons as must have. I like any co-op at same time games.

Bubble Bobble
Legendary Wings
Pang or Buster Bros
Golden Axe, any of them.
Contras
Tmnt the arcade game
The Simpsons
Metal Slugs
Rainbow Islands
Joust

Wish I could have got a better picture so you can clearly see the 3-D background behind the half mirror.

I'm still kicking myself for being too lazy to go pick one up recently. A 2 player popped up on Facebook a hr away for $100 a couple weeks back. I should have bought it just for the boards.

I never heard of Warlords before a couple years back. I was in our small town bar and met a few locals. One guy said there was a arcade here until the late 90s and explained a 4 player cocktail table where you shot fireballs to defend your castle. He said there was 2 of them here in a small town of 700. It's my first play usually when I fire up the mame.

Arcade wiki says 1014 uprights and 1253 cocktails were made but not sure if that's accurate
